Our family stayed here for several nights and enjoyed it immensely. We saw deer and javelinas come right up to the back patio area. There are lots of nearby places to hike and enjoy nature. We plan to come back!

We loved it here!

Super cute little place. It's on the edge of a neighborhood backed by forest with walking trails. It's close to town and there's great hikes everywhere. The owners were very good to us.

Best place we stayed at in quite a while. This cozy cottage offered so much like quality appliances, well stocked kitchen and very comfortable beds. The entertainment center was awesome. So many wonderful channels.The house sits on a small hill and the view is amazing. We were against the forest reserves so the deer and javelina would so up every day plus the squirrels and birds.A nice deck with very nice outdoor furniture.This would be a place we will rent again and again.

Cabin was well maintained and stocked with everything you need. Melissa was WONDERFUL working with us and allowing us to get into the cabin early. I forgot there was an hour time change!! Beautiful patio area with bird feeder (bird food supplied) which we truly enjoyed!! Deer were everywhere and watching them and the birds every afternoon and evening was a joy!! If you are not used to mountain roads the drive up can be a little exciting but well worth the drive! Unfortunately, we never saw a Javelinas, but it didn't stop us from looking!We would definitely stay here again!!

The cabin was beautiful and cozy. The fireplace was so nice. The bed mattress top notch. We saw javelina, lots of deer and birds. It snowed and the view was so pretty. The guest contact, Melissa was very sweet and helpful. We will be back again!

Amazing cabin in the woods

I love everything about this cabin. It's newly remodeled gorgeous, stocked with everything you need including more bird seed and the best bird watching right outside your window. We had deer in the back yard and just the best time in Prescot. It's a beautiful town with lots of history and victorian houses and old saloons. I will definitely be back again and back to this cabin. We had the best time!!

Great Get-Away Cabin

This little cabin is so comfortable. I rented it for 3 nights as an annual tradition of mine. It provided the quiet solitude I expected. It was very clean and well furnished. I even had an unexpected guest the third day, a little javelina stopped right by the deck. It was a lovely tranquil time. Melissa was very responsive and super friendly. I would definitely rent this cabin again.

Perfect R&R getaway with best views!

The cabin is beautiful and views even better. We had quite a few deer walk right up to us to say hi. Great hiking trails right outside backdoor and the cabin is close to town. My family and I VRBO often, mostly Prescott ,and this by far is our most favorite spot. We most definitely plan to be back, we were hoping for anniversary weekend but looks like already booked thru August. But there is always an excuse to get away!!! Thank you for a great stay! Very Very Nice! Equipped with much more than expected. Perfect for two couples especially with comfy king beds. Can't beat the proximity to town, lakes and hiking. Barking dogs was the only complaint which the owner cannot control. Will be back.

The Groom Creek cabin never disappoints. This was our second stay and the third stay is already booked. The cabin is very clean, comfortable and relaxing with the best views of the wildlife right from the living room couch or out on the deck! We look forward to August, it will be our first summer stay! The bed in the master is the most comfortable mattress. I need to know what brand it is... lol

The cabin was perfect. The views were amazing out the back door. The deer walked right up to gate to visit several times thru the weekend. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything needed to make for a relaxing stay. The bed in master was so comfortable! I most definitely will stay again. We tried to book while we were still at cabin but our anniversary weekend wasn't available. But that is ok, who needs an excuse to get way! We plan on visiting again soon. Great overall experience

We had a great time at this property. location - was at the right elevation so we had some snow left from snow earlier in week. and close enough to town. Wildlife- we woke up a few mornings to deer and havolina’s enjoying their life. It was such a beautiful sight. Home- properly was well taken care of, very clean and stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. All spices, condiments, cooking sprays, detergents so we didn’t have to go out and buy the basics. Beds- beds were on the firm side. I was comfortable however my husband who is a 220lb man said it was too hard. Melissa (host) was very kind, responsive, and had great suggestions for things to do. We highly recommend this place to others.
