Glorious views, walk to lake and town
Fabulous central location - easy walk to centre of town, Lake Whakatipu, the lake cycle/walkway, ice rink, skate park and botanic gardens. Summer Solstice is an architecturally designed home with stunning views over the lake & surrounding mountains. It was built in the 60s and has a great mid century vibe. There are older bikes and helmets available free for use and Sky, Wifi and linen is included in the price.

Great place to stay
The house, location, and views were all fantastic. Flats below were a bit of a surprise but didn't have any negative impact. Supplies were a bit low for a few basic items, but overall I would recommend it and definitely stay again.
