Absolutely delightful apartment. Spacious, clean and beautifully presented, I would most definitely stay here again. Lovely neighbourhood and really close to trains and trams. Al was the perfect host, just like his apartment.

We had a lovely time here - it’s a beautifully decorated apartment that was a great base to walk to and enjoy the city and surrounds. We were out and about a lot but I wish we’d stayed in more because the place was so nice to relax in! Would definitely recommend ☺️

Beautiful apartment and excellent location

We spent 5 nights at this lovely apartment and enjoyed every minute. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the Australian Open which my husband appreciated. I loved the coffee shops and many good restaurants just a few blocks away. I enjoyed walking the neighborhood and seeing the interesting architecture and gorgeous old homes. Be sure and visit the Johnston collection located in a Victorian townhouse. The host, Al, was very responsive to our needs. We would highly recommend this place!

Place immaculate, host hugely helpful , area full of interest and incredibly friendly locals. Love the General Store around the corner. Only concern is one also experienced in our last Stayz property - the self locking door to internal courtyard - we got locked out and after cries for help, were rescued by neighbour.

East Melbourne Getaway

What a great spot for a Melbourne getaway. Very conveniently located - close to trams and Jolimont railway station or just a 30 minute stroll through the peaceful Fitzroy Gardens. Traffic noise was not an issue as this apartment is tucked away on a quiet street in a lovely area. The apartment was everything we had expected after viewing the photos on the Stayz website. Roomy and clean, with lovely comfortably furnishings. Thanks Al, we had a great stay and will definitely book this apartment when we are next visiting Melbourne.

We loved everything about this property … great location close to cafes and restaurants, trams and trains, walking distance to both the MCG and city via Fitzroy and Treasury Gardens … great layout with two living spaces, private outdoor space and bedrooms with privacy from each other plus comfy beds and pillows … loved the 20s decor. Parking permit for on-street parking appreciated. Prompt communication from owner. We will be back!

Wonderful Character Apartment

We really enjoyed all aspects of this property which was both quiet and close to the city. The host most graciously offered guests use of all items in the house including the turntable with large collection of records and to use food and drinks in the house.The use of the outdoor area was another bonus.

The unit was perfect for us, starting with the parking, the easy entry with clear instructions from the owner Then the comfortable bed, great shower and bath … and even a loaf of bread. we loved everything about it and didn’t want to leave . Would book it again.

Gorgeous place in great location

We have been in and around Melbourne for the past month, staying in various VRBOs and anirbnbs, and this was by far the best accommodation we stayed in. Very easy to check in, lovely bedrooms and bathrooms, spacious outside courtyard, a proper home from home. We will definitely look to re-book when we return to Melbourne. Thank you very much!
