Gorgeous gold hardware throughout kitchen and all new white Shaker Style cabinets in Kitchen and Mudd room . With Pottery Barn and Maiden Home furnishings throughout the home, you and your guests will enjoy luxury living. New tempurpedic mattresses in each bedroom, including 2 California King bedrooms, and 2 full beds in the 3rd bedroom. 2 full bathrooms newly renovated with new shower, Kohler tub, Stylish fixtures, Moen Chrome shower systems, and Carrera Marble flooring. Decking on each side of the home, both screened in and out under the sun. Hand blown glass onion shaped outdoor lamps shipped from Sandwich Lanterns in Cape Cod to light the front and back porches at night. Three brand new flat screen Smart TVs with cable and Apple TV! Great Stay at the Beach House

Sea Glass Cottage has been our favorite place to stay at Emerald Isle. Conveniently located near beach, places to eat, shopping and entertainment. We live this place!

Family Week at Sea Glass Cottage

We had a wonderful week at Sea Glass Cottage with this being our 2nd visit. The home is lovely and immaculate. We were very comfortable here. We really enjoyed the pool spending time floating and chitchatting with each other. The kitchen was well equipped as we cooked several meals in. Communication with the host was outstanding. I would highly recommend these accommodations for your visit to EI.

Perfect location for family

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was just as promised at the property. Loved having the cart to take to the beach, and the pool was great. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Hosted by Laura Burrows Haviland

Eric and Laura run two vacation rental properties in Ocean Oaks and Sea Dunes neighborhoods in Emerald Isle. They reside in Maryland and run a Family Law Firm called Burrows Haviland Law. Laura and Eric have two boys and two rescue dogs, and vacation and spend most of their days not working in Emerald Isle. They love helping create lasting memories for the families who stay at Beach Baby and Sea Glass Cottage.

Why they chose this property

This property is tucked away in one of our favorite private neighborhoods in Emerald Isle and is conveniently located on the ocean side. Laura loves renovation projects and bringing life back to forgotten spaces. The property was on the market for well over a year and had not had an offer, likely because it looked like an old log cabin at the beach. Laura had a vision for making the unusable backyard, a private fenced in pool area, and completely renovating the space to brighten it and make it a happy home. Laura's absolute favorite feature... is the ice maker in the kitchen that makes her favorite Chic-Fil-A type ice!!! She made the soft linens a priority for families, and always buys from Pottery Barn, Tempurpedic, and Serena and Lily.

What makes this property unique

This property has the benefit of a private pool and fenced in yard, and the ease of a golf cart to roam the neighborhood and schlep your belongings to the beach for the day. The property is decorated with bright beautiful linens and colors. Laura included Maiden Home furnishings for the sofa and living room chairs, which was a real treat!
