Never Monday Villa is a bright and airy soundside home located in the prestigious Corolla Light subdivision on the Northern Outer Banks of North Carolina. This newly renovated vacation spot is ideally situated just steps to the Currituck sound via a trail from the back yard. Sunset kayaking and bird watching are just out the back door. The ocean is a third of a mile away and easily accessible by our bike/walking path which runs by our front door. Also, the Corolla Light trolley picks up across the street for those who prefer a ride to the wide, sandy beaches rather than parking themselves. Very cozy, beach themed interior with expansive decking all around the house including privates decks off the three Master bedrooms. Fully stocked house with linens included. All you need to bring is the weekend attitude to complete the ambiance at Never Monday Villa!

This is a great place to stay! The house is spacious, tastefully decorated and clean. Great host: there was a small issue with VRBO leaving an old description up and Gina acted swiftly and kindly to make it right. If you're looking for a place in Corolla, this is it.

Very clean and comfortable home. The owners were very quick and helpful with all communication. The house is roomy, the kitchen is very well equipped and the location is very convenient. Being just off the main road was never a problem, even with young children. The front yard is a great buffer and this far up Corolla, the traffic is pretty light. It is very near the sound and in a quiet cul de sac. We hope to stay again.

We had a small problem with the property management company, which should’ve been fixed quite easily as both I and my host brought it to their attention They had my check-in date wrong. They had me checking in on July 26 instead of July 25. It was a simple typo that had trouble getting resolved.Nothing like getting there after a 6 Hour drive and being told your reservations are not until tomorrow . After extension conversations we were able to resolve this when they asked me to show them my reservation confirmation. The host is in no way responsible for this and she was just as frustrated as I. She acted on it immediately and it simply didn’t get communicated as it should’ve been. The communication with the host was excellent from beginning of the reservation until we checked out. You could not have asked for better. The house was clean, it was well appointed and we had a really good time. This house has three master bedrooms with en suites and everyone was thrilled. The beach is very close by with free parking or you could take the trolley and the swimming pools and the set up there were A. We did not let the shaky start set the tone for our vacation. We had a great time and the house was just lovely and the sunsets over the sound were remarkable. I think you would enjoy it and I highly recommend this house.

Beautiful sunsets being close to the sound. Really enjoyed having the kayaks to paddle in the sound. Fairly close to beach but also a parking area near the beach if you don't want to walk. Overall a great place to stay!!

My sons and I have been coming to the Outer Banks for many cherished years now with the notion that ONE day, we would buy a place here. It holds a very special corner in all our hearts with years of memories. On our first trip down, I met an old fisherman whom I struck up a conversation with as he fiddled with his rod, and told him how much I loved the OBX and would work to someday buy some land or a home here. He belly laughed saying, "I have been coming here to rent for thirty years now but would never buy here." I asked why since he apparently loved it as well. "This ain't land it's sand!!" I suppose he was right. Life on a Sandbar as the bumper sticker reads. But I will take it!

Why they chose this property

We bought in the Corolla Light Resort as it is where we chose to rent for many years, both ocean and soundside. We decided on this property due to its proximity to the water from our back yard as we are avid kayakers. I also love being able to take morning and evening walks along the Sound and through the tree covered trails that surround our place. The house was in need of updating but the floor plan and enormous decks surrounding the house gave us the initiative to get working on it and it has turned into our dream home.
