Had a wonderful stay! The host was super communicative and the place was beautiful. Would highly recommend staying here and will definitely book again next time we are in town.
Very nice place to stay. Enjoyed everything about it. A few things were a little strange like clothes already in the dresser when we arrived. Also, there are 3 TVs on the living room but they are small and difficult to see. No serious complaints at all, would stay here again.
Neat little place. We came down to Texas for a fishing tournament. The listing said there was a “grill” but it turned out to be a black-stone grittle, which was fine, we just made adjustments. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay, and would recommend anyone to stay here. One thing we really enjoyed was how peaceful it was and very quiet!
This was a much needed trip for me and my wife. We were able to relax and enjoy our time here. We have talked about building a barndominium for our next home and staying here has gave us lots of ideas.
Also we celebrated our 27 year of marriage on July 4th.
This place is a wonderful place away from the noise and busywork lifestyle that we all face during each season of life. Being that we are leaders in a couples ministry we were able to sit and hear and get direction from the Lord to know how we are to go into our next season. A new vision and strategy was developed for our team. And I know this place helped us accomplish our goals and dreams for the future.
I was able to meet the owners of the home, very nice people to talk with.
For the guys I recommend this house if you’re interested for a fishing trip. I always wanted to talk with a professional fisherman, Jeff Sprague took time to speak to an amateur fisherman and gave me some worms..😃
This is worth renting so I highly recommend it to anyone.

This was an amazing house and we really enjoyed our stay. It was absolutely gorgeous and really close to the boat ramp which was exactly what we were looking for. We really enjoyed staying here.
Home was just as shown. I thought it was a bargain! Clean, New - and loved the Blackstone grill! This home was just as pictured. Jeff, my contact was prompt and extremely helpful - which was awesome because this was my first time using VRBO. If I go back and fish Lake Fork - I will target this home for sure. Thanks for the hospitality, see you next time! Stan Davidson, Springfield Missouri
Property is well maintained with plenty of space. Great location with close access to a number of boat ramps on the lake. Property owner was very accommodating and responsive. We will definitely be booking this one again!
Property was clean with new appliances, lots of room to spread out and relax. Owner was responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall we liked the place quite and secluded-Very nice!! What we didn’t like was all of the little critters we encountered. Granted with nature it comes with territory but inside the home not so much, definitely need to treat the home with some Home Defense or some sort both inside and out. We have stayed at several other cabins in/near Canton - like Coyote Creek and Longview but never have we came across so many critters inside OMG (gnats, spiders, centipede, and scorpion).

Hi there, we’re sorry that you encountered these issues. The owners have some feedback about this: “We apologize for critters inside the property. We are in the country and we do have animals including deer hogs, bobcats, and insects. We have our home sprayed and exterminated regularly but we will have the property revisited by an exterminator and extra time this week to help other guests avoid some of these issues with pests. Anytime a guest is at our property we encourage them to contact us with any issues at all so we can address them and correct them immediately. Thanks for staying with us and come back next year!”
Stayed here for a few days and fished legendary Lake Fork. The finishes on the place were perfect and it’s very close to public boat ramps. Will definitely stay here again.
Nice place. Plenty of space. Perfect for a trip to Lake Fork. Stocked with everything you need. Would stay again.

Great weekend with good friends
Our stay was absolutely perfect, other than the rain, but hey that's part of it sometimes. The accommodations at 965 County RD 1917 in Yantis, Tx. was great. Only two complaints. The stay wasn't near long enough and the upstairs loft could use some night stands with lights. Very dark up there when you turn the overhead lights off. Other than that, we all very much enjoyed the location and everything about the house. Would recommend for a family of 4 or less. More can stay but would need to bring blow up mattress for the loft area. There is plenty of room for at least 4 more people in the loft. Very big rooms. The master bedroom and bathroom was perfect as well. It could also use a night stand and table lamp, but with a window next to the bed, always knew when it was daylight. Actually saw a little wildlife during our stay. White tailed deer across the pasture and a night owl was sitting on the fire pit logs when we got up one morning. Will stay again in the future.
Amazing and homely feel for our week-long getaway. Property had everything we needed and property owner was great in communicating when we needed it. We’ll definitely be staying again when we return! Only thing that would have made it better would have been covered parking but it wasn’t a deal breaker.
This place was perfect for our weekend getaway with some friends. The open, spacious barndominium was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here againif planning to be in the area.
We LOVED staying at this property. My family and I had a fantastic time!!! We spent our days out at Holbrook beach only a 20 min drive away and our nights grilling on the porch and then relaxing all cuddled up on the couch enjoying life. Could not have asked for a better experience and all the amenities provided were top notch! We will definitely be back to visit ❤
