About this property

Private and secluded. Harrison is the "Gateway to the North"

We have 120 acres of trails for hiking, biking, cross country skiing, and horse back riding (bring your own horses as we have a barn available for them! See all kinds of wild life (deer, geese, turkey, etc.) right out your window. Completely furnished with full screen tv, fully stocked kitchen with bar, a shower and combination tub in the bathroom, , outdoor grill and picnic table. Feed the horses and Shetland sheepdogs. You don't have to go to populated places unless you want to. Extremely relaxing. Within five miles is the Muskegon River and canoe rentals, 20 lakes in 20 minutes for swimming, boating, and fishing. Five miles to Wilson State Park with a beautiful beach. Snow Snake Mountain is five miles away for skiing. The Leota trails are two miles down the road for four wheeling, biking, horseback riding. Harrison is called (and rightfully so) the "Gateway to the North" here in Michigan. The property is called "Hawks View".

Beautiful secluded property
This was a great place to get away. We stayed here as it was secluded and close to a large tract of state land for deer hunting. The cabin was unique, very clean and updated, and offered plenty of space. Also, it’s on a beautiful piece of land with horses and rolling pasture. We would definitely stay here again!

I am a practicing Attorney and your host. I love this part of Michigan and was raised here.
Always happy to share with you what is going on and all the activities in the area.

Why they chose this property

Quiet and private. You will have deer come up to your yard in the evening and greet you. A lot of wildlife, eagles, hawks, birds, etc.

What makes this property unique

If you want a peaceful beautiful country vacation, this is it. Feed the horses and dogs, hike the 120 acres or bring your four wheeler to travel the beautiful trails. There is room to stable a horse or two as well. Close to the Leota rail trails, Snow Snake golf and skiing, Canoeing down the Muskegon River, Wilson State Park, Amish gift shops, etc.
