Property needs a lot of TLC, pool was not swimmable and amenities were poor. We mowed some of the lawn so we could enjoy the outdoor area. Owner was responsive and compensated as we could not use the pool.
We arrived to an unihabitable property with animal excrement everywhere, pool not to safety standards and damaged, yard kneehigh with grass and broken glass and metal in various places, rubbish dumped in gardens everywhere, screens missing or broken on multiple doors and windows, mould on every handle in the kitchen, floors dirty and carpets covered in stains. An animal ventured into the house. We had people travelling from interstate and could not remain in the property as two of the children felt ill after just 30 mins inside the house. We were lucky enough to find somewhere else that could accommodate our large group but it was another 2 hours drive away. I would not recommend anyone stay at this property until extensive repairs are made.
Our group had a fantastic stay. The range of amenities and activities available to guests was very impressive. The decor isn’t perfect but it was neat and tidy which suited us perfectly.
Was such an amazing time. The space was huge and the views spectacular. Such a big and vibrant place with a lot of character. Certainly an amazing space.
We all had a great time in this place . enjoining take photos around the farm and house. Beautiful house a lot of space and great Karaoke. we also enjoy swimming in the pool and sauna as well . Thank you.
There is a whole lot of charm about this house and the location is amazing. Such a short trip to feel like you are out of Sydney but the drive it only an hour. It was a true escape. The beds on a whole were plentiful and comfortable. The house can handle the heat as we were there on a 36 degree day and we didn't have any issues. There is plenty to occupy yourself inside and outside. It was lovely to have the Lama's and goats roaming about. Where things become a challenge is in the kitchen, the fridges are small, howeve the bar fridge can handle the over flow. one of the fridges needs it's seals replaced as it is broken. There is plenty of plates but the ability to good for a large group was a huge challenge. there are no pots to boil pasta or cook, and you can only really use two burners on the stove top. Then there is the challenge of not enough comfortable seating for everyone. we heavy moved tables about so we could eat as a group and there was enough dining chairs to sit on. But thankfully we all brough our camp chairs so we could sit outside or sit around the 5 seat couch set up. For elderly people the couches are all too low and we needed to lift them out, these are all managable challenges but this put issues in the weekened. The house itself has many charming elements and while it could do with some extra tlc its is lovely in so many ways... you just have look past the dust, animal droppings and over grown landscaping.
The house was enormous and beautifully located. Plenty of room and the rooms were nicely made up. Bathrooms clean and tidy. Kitchen was a struggle, there really needs to be some maintenance to this kitchen as with a large group cooking and catering was hampered by broken appliances and alternatives that weren’t feasible for a big group. The pool was a bit leafy and dirty and there was no pool scoop had we wanted to use it. The spa looked a bit yuck so we didn’t try it. The arcade games and Karaoke were awesome, there was plenty of furniture and lots of places to just enjoy a very tranquil location. It really was a beautiful homestead but it’s suffering under lack of maintenance and care and whilst with a big enough group the cost is manageable, for such a high stay rate, I would have expected more care for the building. I do hope the management considers taking better care of the building, because it would be a shame for such a great place to fall apart.
Went on a roadtrip with friends. Great place, good space, clean rooms and bathrooms. Facilities are overall very accommodating!
Only downside is the drive into the manor, the roads are very rough and unless you drive carefully and slowly, you’ll likely scratch and damage your bumpers.
Other than that, great!

Razorback Dream Farmhouse
We enjoyed our visit. The house was huge and accommodated several families well. The location is terrific. The owner was very quick to respond to our questions when we were there.Check with owner about inclusions we were disappointed the home theatre projector wasn't working and the piano needs repairing. The pool fence is not secure and pool chemicals were easily accessible from where they were stored inside the pool fence. There wasn't enough lounge furniture for the people the house accommodates - but there are enough dining room chairs.

Beautiful but missing some tender, love and care
The place is amazing but a lot of things need upgrading and repairing including the ovens, some beds are breaking. The outdoor area needs some serious maintenance as the grass is very long and the pool is neglected.
Nonetheless it is serene and if the above adjustments are made I'll definitely recommend and be back myself

Family birthday
The out look was amazing and the size of the property suited us but it would have been nice to have been given advanced notice that the ovens didn’t work and had been replaced with smaller portable ovens. This made it hard to do a family roast. Everyone enjoyed seeing the animals but they shared our space too much sometimes. Overall you can see it was a beautiful big house but it now requires a lot of maintenance
This place is amazing and exceeded our expectations. We had our wedding nearby in Camden and had our close family and friends stay in this mansion with us. We have never stayed in a place so big. Yes the place is a bit run down and dated and could definitely use some maintenance and love but it honestly didn’t affect us much at all as we all loved it so much. There aren’t many holiday rental places available that can match the size and fit the amount of people in it.
The road/driveway into the house could definitely do with some love as there were some big pot holes. But all in all this house was perfect for our needs and everyone was amazed with it. We also loved sharing the property with the alpacas and pony.

Good but old and needs repairs
Amazing area, view. Large property and nice outside fire pit. Lot of space and 3 fridge in kitchen. As a large group of dad and kid was good for us. Not very nice if looking for a modern manor.
Obviously owner not investing in expensive repairs
The central heating, sauna, spa, and several electric heater not working. Place is run down and need some TLC. Carpet very stained.
Not sure why fireplaces are off limits, obviously been used and with no proper heating it was very cold for the kids. Would make the place much more comfortable.
No firewood unless you willing to collect off the property
Overall did the job for us but don’t expect a nice and modern place for the fussy visitors.

Great fun in a house that would have been spectacular 25 years ago & could be again.
As per reviews we had read before we came, this place needs a fair amount of work & a really good clean in order to be considered a premium property, but if you are laid back about that sort of thing & can overlook the dirt & wear & tear, there are some great aspects to it. Unfortunately we had a cold, wet weekend, so the pool wasn't really an option & we simply could not get the spa to heat up, plus the water (filled from a tank) smelled really bad so even had we managed to warm it, I'm not we would have braved it!
But the towels & linens were all spotless, the kitchen is pretty well kitted out, the location is excellent & we had heaps of fun with the pool table, the ping pong, & the karaoke machine. It is pretty pricey for what it is but I guess given the lack of options for places close to Sydney of that size, it's a property owner's market to a degree.
All in all, we had a really great time & with a bit of a spruce up, this place could be really something.

Weekend Retreat
The house was good overall however in the kitchen the ovens were out of order. We were not told of this despite us asking about the kitchen specifically before hand. For big groups, the kitchen is very important. It also lacked various utensils and large pots. We struggled to make things work during our stay. Another major drawback was that the airconditioning in the house didn't work. There were some heaters in the rooms but the large spaces couldn't be heated. It's not the best option in colder seasons. Upstairs carpet was wet. The furniture in general is quite old. The photos were somewhat in accurate in how the house and the furniture are displayed.
Despite all this, it's a good house for large groups. Other aspects of the venue was good with a pool, sauna and spa. Lots of space and being on an acreage gives you privacy. It had great views.
The property is perfect for a large family gathering. Great proximity to Sydney.
We had 15 adults and 13 children. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. Sheets and towels were pristine and beds comfortable.
So many activities for adults and kids, both indoor and outdoor.
The house must have been magnificent in its day but is in need of some tlc now. Our main concern was the inadequacy of the kitchen when catering for a large number of people.
Both wall ovens don’t work and have been replaced with small portable ovens which are not big enough for large baking dishes. Tho cooktop needs to be replaced with a much larger one and the bbq also needs to be much bigger.
However, we had the best time and were able to relax because the house is not too precious with young kids.
We enjoyed the company of the 2 llamas and the pony who freely roam around the house. The llama even paid us a visit after we arrived so best to keep the doors shut!
Thank you. Would love to return one day.
