Such a beautiful, perfectly appointed home. We felt at home and had an amazing vacation! Thank you for allowing for the opportunity to have a perfect get away!
Very nice home in a beautiful location. Very short walk to a bridge with a great view of rangeley lake. Only about 5 minutes from main st where all the shops and restaurants are. Large spiral staircase to get upstairs to the kitchen which was tough for older family members to constantly go up and down so keep that in mind if traveling with older people but otherwise great house!

Rangeland Lake Visit
Email communication and check-in/check-out process were excellent! The top floor (living room/kitchen area) of this property was awesome...newly remodeled with nice finishes and furnishings. The lower two floors were in great need of updating. Top floor did become very warm in the late afternoon and early evening. Bottom floor was very musty smelling. Overall, the property met our needs as we basically used it as a hub to explore the beautiful area from. An outdoor fire pit would be a great addition.

The Carousel
Ideal 2 family, roomy house. Nice 360 degrees deck on top. However, no view of water or hills as the trees around it are high. Close to golf. Town and lake are a bit further away, not walkable. Main concern is the warm water, it has very little pressure/flow. Only one person in the house can use hot water, at a slow rate. The maintenance, who came very quickly, could not resolve it.

Shoot The Architect
Spiral staircase for exciting near death thrills! Intermittent cable - if it's raining - forget about it! When it does work..... TV hisses..... "WE"RE HERE!!!!" Fire up them SMORES its CHILD FRIGHTENEN TIME! Some have sold their souls for fame/fortune/women - we couldn't find a crossroads to sell ours just to get one working channel. We did however enjoy the hand towels.

Beautiful Property!
The Carousel was a beautiful property, great for sleeping a large group and also wonderful as a hosting space for an even larger group at a family reunion. Everyone was very comfortable having multiple meals and downtime together in the space. The lake was not visible from the property, but that was OK for us, as we had access to the lake at a different smaller site. There were a couple of small issues: the washing machine and the master toilet both had small leaks. When we did laundry we noticed that there was already a roll of paper towels on the washer, so we were wondering if the owners might already aware of the leak with the washing machine? Also, this property would not be a great choice for someone with mobility issues. The spiral staircase going down from the top floor (where the kitchen is) to the middle floor (where the master bedroom is) was not navegable for our older family members. Overall, we had a great experience at The Carousel and found it clean, well-taken care off, new, and, frankly beautiful: A great space for hosting a large group in the Rangeley area.
The Carousel House was amazing! The property was private, clean, and unique. The area was close to everything in Rangeley we love. The kids loved the different levels of the house and the wrap around porch. Perfect getaway for two families.
