Wilcox Cottage

Located 3 minutes from Okanagan Lake in historic Peachland, BC.

This magnificent property is ideally situated for days at the beach, wine tasting, golfing, cycling, hiking, fishing, and dining out. The house is approximately 30 minutes from the Penticton and Kelowna airport.

Build and in our family since 1969; We recently renovated the entire house. The house features three bedrooms, all with queen beds and luxurious bedding. One full bathroom, one-half bathroom. On-site6 laundry. We have a large yard with outdoor dining set as well as lawn chairs. BBQ, Internet & cable 55 “ TV provided in the front room and TV in the master bedroom.

Good location. Owner was a bit invasive

Owner was a bit invasive, wanting to come into property while we were renting. And made false accusations about us removing items from property which did not occur. Given the amount we paid for the rental this is a huge insult to think we would steal some toss cushions and a pillow cover.

Lovely spot in Peachland

The property was exactly as described. It was very clean and had many helpful features eg beach towels and chairs, spices, washing machine, nice bbq etc.

Peachland hideaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this lovely renovated home. Shannon, the property owner, was very accommodating and went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. Due to it being a very hot week, she kindly bought two fans for us to use in the bedrooms. Generally, the breeze from the lake, keeps the house fairly cool, even though there is no AC. The house is very well stocked with all the essentials. The towels, sheets and mattresses are of excellent quality. The kitchen has everything one needs to make delicious meals with all the fresh produce and fruit available nearby. The farmers market in Peachland on Sunday’s 10am-2pm, is very good. The backyard is very spacious, with a lovely rose garden. There is a good barbecue and plentiful and comfortable outdoor seating. It is also very private, completely fenced. Shannon supplies Tommy Bahama beach chairs and large beach towels. The beach is only a short 5 minute walk, down a lovely path. While you can hear the traffic from Highway 97, it is not obtrusive. The general overall feeling of the home is one of peace and tranquility. Thank you Shannon for a wonderful week in your home away from home!

This cute home has been in my family since I was young. The yard backs on to the walking path that takes you to the lake. There are picnic tables and swimming at the beach very close to the house.

Why they chose this property

Walk to the beach, 3 minutes from the house to the beach.
Bike, everywhere. We back on to the walking path.
Lounge in the large private backyard.
Wine touring, close to West Kelowna and just a short drive to the Narmada bench.

What makes this property unique

This house is on the flats of Peachland, and it has everything you need to enjoy a nice Okanagan vacation. Sun areas, shade areas, beach and lounging. Back yard barbeque.
