Only a one minute walk down the back garden and you’ll be sinking your toes into the golden sands of beautiful Warrain Beach (or if you prefer you can visit stunning Culburra Beach, a three minute walk away).
Glory House is a family friendly three bedroom (one bedroom is has a privacy curtain off the living area) residence with glass doors opening out to the garden with spectacular views and fresh breezes sweeping off the nearby ocean. What’s more, you are only a 10 min drive to the world famous white sands of Jervis Bay.
When you do come inside you can kick back on the couch and cool off under the air conditioning and enjoy a DVD in the living room or maybe reconnect the family over a board game.
If some tunes outside is more your style there's a rechargeable Bluetooth speaker that you can take anywhere in the house. Whilst the kids play outside the chef can show off their culinary skills on the BBQ before the family gathers around the table outside to laugh, tell tales and enjoy a memorable feast.
When it’s finally time to hit the hay, you’ll find 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds, a third sleepout room with privacy curtain and comfy bed, warm showers and bath and extra pillows and blankets if you need them. Fans for summer and heaters for winter will keep you so comfortable that you won’t want to get up the next day. But you’ll already know from our exclusive guidebook that there are so many things to see and do in the Culburra Jervis Bay area – from where to shop and where to dine out to in-the-know local knowledge of the area’s “hidden secrets” that you’ll want to jump out of bed and explore.
But before you head out for the day be sure to enjoy a lazy holiday breakfast on the back deck. For caffeine addicts, there is the bonus of a pod espresso coffee machine with complimentary coffee pods.
Holidays are precious and memories are forever. We invite you to make beautiful family memories with us at Glory House.

The property was overall very welcoming, we felt really at home with all the amenities that were in place left by the hosts. Many thanks to them for that. Rob was communicating smoothly and replied quickly.

Beautiful beach views. But access to the beach is not easy down a steep slope. The house was very clean but the decor is dated and the lack of a dishwasher is unacceptable as surely common place in a family home. The entrance to the property from the street is dangerous as the gate has to be manually opened while the car is still in the way of traffic. On our last day we were awoken at 7am by heavy duty construction next door which went on all day. The host said he was unaware of construction and was subsequently unresponsive.
Very comfortable beds and slept well, lovely hearing the waves day and night. We all enjoyed our relaxing stay with beautiful views

Comfy home in a great location!
We recently enjoyed our first weekend at 'The Glory House'. We arrived to a fresh bunch of flowers on the table, soft fluffy towels, comfy beds and all the comforts of home. Add to this a great location with fabulous views of the ocean and we had found our 'serenity'. We have just booked our next stay as we can't wait to return.

The picturesque location of this property resulted in us barely leaving the house, rather, we relaxed and looked at the fab views instead. The house is bigger than I imagined, is clean and extremely comfortable, and has everything you need for a relaxing break away from home.

Quinessential Aussie beach house.
A fabulous place with the backyard flows into the surf beach. Uninterrupted view of the ocean. Fronted by a full kids playground with view to the cove. The house is just enough to feel homely. A rare find.

Nice place to relax
We stayed for a long weekend in mid-March and had a very relaxing time with our small dog. The house was cosy and well equipped. Another plus was it was on a single level, so no need to climb up a flight of stairs to see the amazing views. The owner Terese was a pleasure to deal with too. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys the simple pleasures of life.

Spectacular beach house
We stayed at the Glory House for a family gathering.
This home is welcoming as you walk in, with fresh flowers, excellent living space, topped up with spectacular views over Warraine beach.
There are views also to Culburra beach with sunsets from the western side.
Superb aspect and owners very responsive to replacing damaged microwave.
We will be back to stay in this "slice of heaven"

Glory is a simple, retro home that had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend in a wonderful location. With beaches on both sides we were spoilt for choice as to where to stroll and with one beach right out the backyard, when it was cold (and it was on one day in particular) we could just sit inside and what the surf. Thoroughly recommend!

What we were hoping for & more!
We just spent a lovely weekend at The Glory House for my husband’s birthday. The house & location were just as we hoped. Fantastic to bbq, have nibbles or a cup of tea in bed looking out to sea & watching the whales breach as they migrate south.
Felt at home as soon as we arrived. Very comfy place with lots of little touches that added to the holiday- linen included, pantry with staples, board games & cards.
Loved discovering the area, strolling the beach with our dog, listening to the waves & watching the amazing sunsets over the hills.
Thanks Terese for the perfect little family break. We will definitely be back.
We can’t fault the Glory House!

Comfortable and homely holiday house
As a family of five we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Culburra Beach and our accommodation at the Glory House in particular. From booking to return home the owners were helpful and easy to contact. The house itself is extremely welcoming with all the little details that make a difference on a beach holiday from soft bath towels, thoughtful decor and plenty of showers for when everyone comes home from a long day at the beach. The kitchen is well provisioned with equipment and small details such as salt, pepper, canola spray, coffee pods and teabags, ice cubes in freezer etc all there ready. There are a few games and an interesting book on history of the area. Location is perfect with easy access to two beaches and a quiet location. Overall would highly recommend and am hopeful that we can visit again.

2nd Visit Even Better Than the 1st
My wife and I returned to Glory House for 5 days. The house is still great with the added attraction of September whales jumping directly in front of the house every day. The view may be the best in all of Culburra, rain or shine, night or day. I make one recommendation - just so readers know that I am not associated with the owner (who is very accommodating by the way) - Update the stove. The current stove is fine, but with an array of fresh fish and meat at 'Nowra Fresh' 15 minutes away and a large produce shop next door, this amazing house screams out for amazing dinners. We will be back!

Fantastic location surrounded by the sounds of the beach
We were 2 families with 4 kids staying in Glory. Our kids are all 6 years and below. Bunk beds were great. Fantastic location with the sounds of the beach. Just a walk down the hill and we were there. The 3rd bed area served it's purpose though not a proper bedroom with a privacy curtain, but again suited us fine. Great having a kids play equipment across the road too. Property was generally clean though I think the living room rug really needs a good clean and some issues with cockroaches and spiders. Other than that Glory was a lovely stay for 2 families. The front is gated so the kids could scoot around too. Communication with the property manager was good as all the information was provided beforehand. Thanks for the stay.

Perfect for Ocean Front Addicts
After renting a different Culburra Beach oceanside home for the past 12 years, we will only rent the Glory House in the future (if it is available). There are no unique architectural accents or Balinese appointments. Glory House provides a special pleasurable and constant interaction with the ocean. The home is simple but clean and comfortable. It provides a perfect view of the breaking waves and changing weather, stretching across multiple vantage points from the living room sofa, out to the deck lounges, and further, to the lawn and the picnic table. We slept to the sound of waves in the master bedroom The 5 beds in the bunk room and the 3 in the lounge would be tight but they would enjoy the same rythms. The bunk beds are comfortable and likely great fun for a horde of youngsters or another couple.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in
No privacy and
Very disappointed that the rules and regulations in the tenancy agreement we had to sign before we could get the address and key code were so lengthy with multiple fines for everything including using more than 1 towel each for the duration of our stay, that we felt we didn’t dare touch anything and couldn’t relax for the 3 days we were there. The owner then drove into the front garden the day after we arrived and knocked on the door to ‘get something from the shed’ but didn’t introduce himself and it was obvious he was just checking up on us. A lovely spot and it could have been beautiful and relaxing but unfortunately it felt like boot camp.

Sorry to hear you feel that way Vicky. Our rental agreement needs to cover the worst case scenarios, and generally speaking most of it never applies to the majority of our guests, there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to relax. Perhaps the owner did need to get something from the shed or thought it may be at this property (as they have a few) You said he came to the door and asked you?
Experienced poor shower pressure. Not enough toilet paper

Hi Martin, What a view from Glory! You're right, the location is amazing! Please let us know if you have any issues with anything as if we had have known, we would have happily sent someone to look at the shower pressure for you. Toilet paper as stated in the rental terms is only supplied in a starting amount of three rolls. Guests just supply after this.
Peaceful with breathtaking views. The house was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again

This house was SO clean and comfortable to stay in. It was like staying in our own house but in one of the best locations on the south coast at a very reasonable price. The owners really take pride in this house and present it well to make sure your stay is perfect. And it was. The only thing I'd say the house needs is a dishwasher but that nothing really. Its the best accommodation we have been in to date, hands down!

Why they chose this property
Discover seaside delights in Culburra Beach, where famous Australian photographer Max Dupain snapped the iconic Sunbaker picture in 1937. In the beautiful Shoalhaven region on the NSW South Coast, Culburra will enchant you with fine beaches, sparkling waterways and superb fishing.
Warrain Beach is Culburra’s surf beach and a major attraction where surfing, swimming, fishing and relaxing on fine white sands are popular activities. The Nowra Culburra Surf Lifesaving Club patrols the beach, south of Penguin Head. Culburra Beach Surf School offers surfing lessons and board hire.
Just north of Culburra are Crookhaven Heads Lighthouse and Crookhaven and Shoalhaven rivers, part of Australia’s Oyster Coast. You can taste succulent local oysters from Jim Wild’s Oyster Service at Greenwell Point, a charming village on the Crookhaven estuary and a short drive from Culburra.
Explore the waterway in a boat or kayak from South Coast Retreat Boat and Kayak Hire at Greenwell Point, where the Riverside Markets is held on the third Sunday of the month. Just west of Greenwell Point is picturesque Pyree, where Pyree Village Art and Handmade Market is held on the fourth Sunday.
While in Pyree, browse the gift shops at the historic Jindyandy Mill. There are more shopping opportunities in Culburra, such as Swinging Swaggy Pottery and Ocean Mirrors Gifts. To the south of Culburra is Lake Woolumboola — a popular waterway for sailing, windsurfing and waterskiing — and Currarong and Jervis Bay.
What makes this property unique
We believe our property is in one of Culburra best spots, with glorious views and access from our back door of Culburra’s main beach and also views and access to Tilbury Cove and children’s playground from our front door, the best of both worlds you could say and why we gave it the name the Glory House.
