Nice easy walk to the beach. Not in the main drag, so nice and private. Good space and in good condition. Water temp for showering was a bit of an issue at times

Really unclean and lots of issues
Despite the fabulous location, this house was really disappointing. The first thing we discovered upon entering was an unflushed toilet..really yucky! And things pretty much continued this way. Wet stains on the rug, mucky bathroom sink, outdoor dining and bbq area was filthy and we had to give the bbq a thorough cleaning before using it. Infact we cleaned the bathrooms too and most things before using as though the floor had been swept and kitchen bench wiped down it became really clear that the house was just generally unclean. Garbage bins were all full and recycling not collected our week so we has no way to dispose of recycling on Christmas week! On top of this the air conditioner in the main living area didnt work and the garage doors remote was also not working. The drive way is on a very steep hill so we could not park the cars safely to unload. And my mother had just had knee surgery so not being able to use the garage was doubly difficult. Though they advertised this house as a house that sleeps 8 there was only one 2 seater cane couch (outdoor furniture style) in the living room with 2 upright chairs. So we could not all sit together and watch a movie unless some were in hard wooden dining chairs. One bedroom did not even have a window... I’m not sure if this is even legal to use as a bedroom, certainly false advertising at the least.
The most disappointing thing was that we contacted the property managers on the first day (Sat) letting them know about the unclean state of the property and the air conditioner, they said someone would get in touch with us Monday to deal with it. Noone did. After another couple if days we contacted again. Again we were palmed off with ‘we are looking into it’ remarks and noone bothered to address these issues at all. I guess they were happy as our money was already paid.

Hi Emily,
Thank you for the feedback- I am just unsure why it has been sent through now. I am actually the property manager for this property and I am certainly distressed by your experience. Since your stay I have employed new cleaners and I have addressed the air con. Again, I am sincerely sorry that no one assisted you at the time and I am sure that we have made some improvements since then.
