Our stay at the house was wonderful! Host was helpful and quick to respond. Though we brought most of our own cookware, the kitchen was well stocked with useful implements. Location was perfect as well, a central location between useful grocery stores in Ash Flat, and the shopping in Hardy. The only inconvenience was that the bathroom is somewhat limited in size, which I suppose isn't the fault of the house. I'm not a very short person.Mornings were perfect, and catching sight of the deer in the early hours during breakfast was a treat.Definitely recommended.

Thanks for the great review! Yes, the shower is a little short for tall folks ... we did try to ameliorate that a bit with the adjustable showerhead but the roof is where it is. :)
Hope to see you again soon!
The cabin is adorable and well equipped with everything you need. Loved the decor and all of the windows! Beautiful area and very safe community. We enjoyed the state parks. It was a relaxing peaceful get away :). The host is also excellent!
Had a little weekend getaway here and loved it! The house is so cool and the neighborhood is great. I fell in love with Cherokee Village. Would stay here again!! My only complaint would be the kitchen knives…. Pretty rough shape and hard to cook with. Recommend a new set.

Super Cute and Quirky
We enjoyed our stay, the neighborhood is very quiet. We spent a lot of time just admiring all the details of the interior. It was nice and clean with lots of color splashed everywhere. Deer came out at night, the sky was clear and the stars were amazing. In the morning Song birds were singing as they flew in and out of a hollow tree in the back yard. Daffodils were in bloom and due to the design of the house we were able to enjoy all that nature had to offer while staying warm inside.
This was my third time renting this property and we found this stay to be every bit as enjoyable as our first! Lovely home and the owners are terrific. Bed is comfy and the fireplace and deck are a real treat. The vibe of the home is so splendid that my husband says for him, this home is the highlight of our trip! We have family in CV so we rent this as our place to stay and entertain. Meal prep is easy and the view of the woods and golf course are excellent. Everyone loves this home. It has become a bit of a tradition now for us all and we are looking forward to our 4th stay next year.

mini e. fay jones masterpiece!
this house is an architectural masterpiece. small, but every little detail thought out and really amazing. there is a house next door, but when your in the house you wouldn't know it. i could go on and on, but you should go see it yourself. i'm a pretty big guy, if anything i'd wished mr. jones had designed a little larger bathroom- but i could put up with it to get to stay there. it is like getting to stay inside a sculpture.
we went for our 35th wedding anniversary, this would make a great honeymoon cabin.
thanks again!
My wife and I received training in West Plains Arkansas so we picked this place close by and it did not disappoint in any way! Awesome stay. Beautiful. Comfortable and easy. Perfect stay
This was our second stay at the property in the month of November. It was as great as our first visit. We absolutely love the details of the home's design and noticed new things we missed the first time we stayed. I would highly recommend the property, especially if you are wanting to stay in Cherokee Village. It is very close and convenient while still having a lot of privacy. We had no issue with the lack of tv as it was very desirable for us to simply sit by the fire and relax in the evening. Great coffee and robes too! We love the place and we are looking forward to our 3rd visit next year!!
This home is amazing! My husband and I loved our stay and enjoyed the details of the home's architecture. Retro Cocktail hour by the indoor fireplace listening to Frank Sinatra was cozy and warm. My 93 year old father-in-law who lives in CV came for dinner and drinks and was ready to move in! When I booked I did not realize there was no TV. It was not needed. The home is peaceful and music/reading was preferred. We are already planning a return stay next year. Thanks Lisa!!!
We enjoyed our time here. Eating supper out on the balcony deck in the back was relaxing and private. . The inside was cozy and relaxing as well. There was no problem with cooking or laundry facilities. Internet access was great. Our one major concern was the limited BR/shower facilities. But we made do.
When we entered the home my husband and I immediately said " Frank Lloyd Wright" . A combination of glass, wood and stone enhance the midcentury / arts and craft style of the property. The front of the house is situated behind a wooded treed area providing privacy. The back of the house opens to an expansive unobstructed view of woods and a golf course. Sunlight filters through the bank of ceiling to floor windows. An outdoor deck accessed from the living room provides a closer contact with nature.
The well appointed home is furnished and accessorized with the comfort and convenience of the guests. All appliances are included. The owner provides the necessary inventory for laundry, cooking, bathing and all around thoughtful provisions so the guests never have to run to the store to buy anything. Restaurants, a bank, lakes, historic town of Hardy are within a short driving distance. When called, not for any problems, but for inquiries, the owner promptly responded.
We stayed in November but can see it being rented during all seasons. The gas fireplace is an added amenity. We enjoyed our stay and liked the home so much that we went online to learn more about the architect. The wood detailing, the piano hinges, the stone carved into the ceiling, pocket doors, ample closets, open shelving all appealed to us. High ceilings added to the feeling of space. Excellent traffic pattern, ... we never felt crowded or closed in. Furniture is functional, comfortable and blends well with the period of the house. We would highly recommend this home and the owners for future bookings if ever in the Cherokee Village area.
