Cozy Cottage w/ Beautiful View

A Virginian Walden Pond

As a Biological Scientist who grew up idolizing Steve Irwin, this place was pure peace. I sat on the dock and watched eagles, terns, gulls, various water foul, and had an up close encounter with a Great Blue Heron that can be described as no less than utterly incredible. I absolutely love this place and it was only 20 minutes from my family living in Cobbs Creek! 110% will be back many, many times.

Lovely!

Great location, awesome dock. Authentic mid-century river cottage that is quite comfortable with good wifi, excellent hot water and extra towels. Guest book asks you to pack-out your trash/recycling upon departure. That is a routine part of the "rivah life" in Middlesex County, VA. There are drop off facilities along the way home.
