Ben Ohau High Country Station
Ben Ohau High Country Merino Sheep Station Cottage is a working farm nestled at the foot of the Ben Ohau Mountain Range just 6 minutes from the township of Twizel. The cottage has been built with incredible views just for you.
This is an amazing wee cottage and although we have bunks and can have 3 people staying it is much better suited for 2 people.
You will have this quaint cottage all to yourself.
Ben Ohau has an incredible history that the owners are keen to share with guests. The farming history is extensive and fascinating but the property has also used in recent years as a film set! For any LOTR fans your hosts can provide you with an exclusive tour of these sites and even share their own experience of being a ork. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like to have a tour.
We have a strict 10am check out policy to allow us to clean and prepare the for our next guests. Unless you have discussed a late check out with us prior to your booking a fee imposed for check out's after 10am.
