Very good

The property was a great size, very convenient and clean. The only cons were the uncomfortable beds and the loud garage door opening frequently under the bedrooms.
I have stayed in this complex several times. It is a nice, well located complex. The particular unit was well maintained. The only drawback is it's location above the garage door that is very loud when it opens and closes.

I own a condo in Summit County and am very familiar with what a well-managed rental experience should look like. Unfortunately, Great Western Lodging fell short in several key areas during my recent stay.I had to pick up physical keys from an office across town, which is inconvenient and outdated in 2026. There should have been a lockbox or keypad. When I picked up the keys, there was only one key for the deadbolt and one for the knob, with no duplicates. For a unit that sleeps up to eight people, this is not acceptable. My check-in instructions said that the building access codes would be uploaded to my guest portal. They were not. I had to call the after-hours line and wait half an hour, and the responses I received came across as condescending and uninformed. I was repeatedly told the codes were in the portal even after I shared a screenshot showing they were missing. There was also confusion about why one of the two keys did not open the unit door. The condo itself was dated but fine. The sliding door was difficult to use and the jets in the HOA hot tubs were broken. Additionally the smoke detector seemed to be missing from one of the bedrooms, but I only realized this at check-out, so that didn't fill me with confidence either. All-in-all not terrible, but disappointing. The location to the slopes and town was perfectly acceptable.Overall, the property was adequate, but the management experience was frustrating enough that I would not book with Great Western again

Thank you for your detailed feedback — we’re truly sorry for the frustration you experienced. Due to building regulations, we are limited in what we can change regarding doors, locks, and entry systems, and we apologize for the inconvenience this caused. We do our best to clearly outline check-in instructions in the guest portal and send them ahead of time to avoid surprises.
We would have been happy to provide additional keys if requested, though we did not see a request come through during your stay. The HOA-managed hot tubs are also outside of our control, but we certainly understand how disappointing that can be. Regarding the smoke detector, there was a working unit installed; an older, unused piece remained on the ceiling, which may have caused confusion. We have since removed the older, unused piece.
We appreciate you noting the location and your honest comments, and we will use this feedback to continue improving the guest experience.
Overall this was a great property, the inside is spacious, the location is within walking distance to the lifts. The COVID check-in process was a bit confusing and unclear. It says to call if you are going to be late, but then you call and it says the office is closed during normal business hours. I think this was leftover from pre-covid times. Either way it worked out in the end, so not a big deal. My biggest complaint was the garage door noise in the bedroom. I'm a light sleeper and it was not a good time on check-out days (End of holiday weekend). I recommend bringing ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
Rude staff in office. will never rent from this company again. Sent them an email about it and never even got a reply. Guess they don't care about the way their staff treat people. Last impression is a lot and there's sucked. They have a great place to stay but there rudeness gives them a low score of me ever staying with them again!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great location, clean and roomy. On-site hot tubs and sauna were nice. The Upper Village outdoor pool and tubs were closed (due to Covid I imagine) at the time of our stay (mid-July 2020).
Master bedroom is right over the very noisy overhead door into the parking garage below, but was tolerable. Overall, enjoyed our stay at this unit.
This place was very nice. Hot tubs were inside on location but awesome outdoor hot tubs and pool a short walk around the corner. Basically everything was a short walk! Quicksilver lift, downtown shops, not too far for the gondola! Our unit was over the garage door. We sleep like rocks so no problems but, if noise is an issue it was loud.
Our family of 4 really enjoyed staying in this condo over the 4th of July holiday. The kitchen seems to be recently remodeled, the beds were comfy, the living area is HUGE and there is a washer/dryer we didn’t know about but was handy. We also really enjoyed the proximity to town and access to the upper pool area.
Only drawback is the condo is situated directly above the garage for the building, so it’s very loud and you can definitely hear when people come and go.

Awesome location in the town of Breckenridge
The location of this condo is fantastic if you want to be in town which is awesome for the summer. We stayed in this unit for the month of August. The kitchen and bathrooms have been updated. It has a large living space with two couches and two love seats. Having a washer & dryer in the unit was a plus. The king size bed in the master was very comfortable, and there is a hot tub in the building down the hall. There is access to a community pool not far away. The free shuttle bus stop is across the street, but everything in town is within walking distance. The underground parking is a another plus especially on those rainy days. Or in the case of winter, no snow to clear off. But be warned, the biggest negative about this unit is the fact the master bedroom is directly over the parking garage door. So every time someone goes in or out, you will have the loud noise of the door going up and down. Not fun when someone decides to leave at 5:30 in the morning or even come back really late at night. You might want to bring your own wine glasses if you prefer to drink wine out of wine glasses. Otherwise, the kitchen is basically equipped for people staying a short time. We missed certain things since we were there for the month. Unfortunately there is no view which is ok because the deck doesn’t have any furniture to sit on even if there was. With so much to do in Breckenridge in the summer as well as winter, the location of this unit is perfect.
