My biggest point of feedback is on the quality of the beds (with my biggest issue being the master); the mattresses are universally lumpy, with springs that creak and poke at you. The pillows are stained, and lumpy/hard. Good quality sheets though, and the place was warm. The kitchen - it needs a pasta pot. The rest of the offerings are basic, but serviceable. The stairs: if you have toddlers, I’d avoid this property, the bottom of the stairs lacks a railing on one side, the drop for an adult or older children is probably not an issue, but for families with very young kids it could be a hazard. Finally: the shower head is mounted to service persons 5’5” and shorter. As a person who pushes 6’ I had to crouch and contort myself to get clean, which is suboptimal. All in all: you can’t beat the location (5-7 minute walk max to the Village), but I’d put the age, size, and condition of the property as on par with what you’d find at the Village Lodge in their non-updated rooms. The property management company is great. They respond quickly, and work to resolve any immediately addressable issues.
