Ocean 5 sits on the slopes of Mont Choisy, an exclusive ocean view neighborhood, on coastline of French St. Martin and enjoys an unobstructed panorama of the Caribbean Sea and just below the beaches of Friar’s Bay and Happy Bay. The contemporary and asymmetrical lines of the residence follow the slope of the land and offer beautiful ocean views from each of the 3 levels. All 6 bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom and feature television, safes, ambient lighting, king size beds and lush linens.
A striking blue ocean vista awaits you as soon as you step through the main entrance of the ground floor into a light-filled living space with large glass sliding doors stretching the entire length of the room and opening out to a large pool and flower-lined sun terrace. Calming aquatints and natural wood accents feature throughout the house. A large dining table takes center stage of the living area. A very well-equipped and beautiful light wood kitchen makes for convivial mealtimes for large families or groups of friends. There are comfortable seating areas both within the air-conditioned living room and also in the lounge area of the outside covered terrace, just to the right of the pool. The terraced gazebo makes for an ideal spot for sunset lounging. There is a sunken living area with a TV, just off to the right of the main living space.This ground floor level also houses two bedrooms: the master suite with a very large walk-in closet and a spacious bathroom with a raised tub and a second bedroom with a bathroom with access in the hallway. Both bedrooms have a terrace with ocean view. Overlooking the living room, the upper mezzanine level offers a fitness room and houses the third bedroom with en-suite bath and a private rooftop terrace with a sunbed.Two staircases descending from the pool terrace lead you to the three remaining bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own terrace with an ocean view and an en-suite bathroom with an open shower. Two of the bedrooms are connected by a door which is ideal for families with young children.
Ocean 5 is within walking distance of the beautiful natural beach of Happy Bay and a short drive to the charming seafront village of Grand Case; the French side’s gourmet destination and home to some of the best restaurants on the island. The popular beach bars, restaurants and water sports of Orient Bay are just a 15 minutes drive away and Friar’s Bay with two beach restaurants is just down the road.

Housekeeping 6 days a week is included in the price (no housekeeping on Sundays and Holidays).
We can also provide crib and high chair for families staying with young children.
Our goal is to provide the best stay possible on our friendly island. Just tell us what you need and your concierge will organize it for you (private chef, chauffeur, masseuse, sago teacher, coach, etc).
Each guest will have access to a welcome book providing directions, informations about the villa and recommendations on things to do on the island.
Note: a credit card hold of 1000€ will be made on your card the day before check-in for security deposit. This amount will not be debited from your account unless there are damages.
- Guest will receive an itinerary to the property and entrance code for self check-in (Clients from saintmartinrentals.com can opt for Free VIP shuttle). Check-in time begins at 4.00pm (3.00 PM for saintmartinrentals.com clients), unless otherwise specified. Guest will report any dissatisfaction within the first 24 hours. Check-out time is 11.00am the latest, unless specified otherwise. Please make sure you take all your belongings with you.
- Security deposit (not application for Airbnb bookings): 1000€ will be held on the card guest provided, but not debited from the account, unless there are damages.
- The maximum occupancy is 2 persons per bedroom booked. Please advise if you go above maximum occupancy (event fee may apply).
- Sorry, no pets are allowed.
- No smoking is allowed indoors. A cleaning fee of minimum $400 up to $1500 will be charged if house has be treated for smoke doors.
- Malfunctioning equipment or issues must be reported immediately. The repairman may enter the premises for purposes related to the repair or maintenance of the property.
- Internet, phone, cable, water, and electricity are managed by third providers. Saint Martin Rentals will not be held liable in case of shortages in service. If a problem occurs, it will promptly be reported to the provider. no refunds or adjustments will be made.
- Each guest will be jointly financially responsible for negligent and malicious/intentional damage done to the property. Guest(s) shall be responsible for the costs of replacing lost keys. There will be a minimum charge of $350 for lost keys.
- Saint Martin Rentals will not be held liable for forgotten objects or items left on site and will not beat the cost of eventual return.
- Parties are not allowed on premises, unless agreed with property manager. A FINE OF $700 will be charged to Guest Credit Card in case of party not approved or excessive noise after 9:30 PM. Please be considerate of the neighbors, do not make excessive noise during the night.
- It is strictly forbidden to dispose of wipes, pads and tampons in the toilet. Only toilet paper can be flushed in the toilet, other disposables need to be placed in the garbages. Otherwise it will damage the sewage system, clog the pipes and you will not be able to use the toilets.
- It is strictly forbidden to tamper with the pool equipment. Around the pool, please keep children under surveillance at all times. Do not alter the pool alarm.
- Make sure to lock windows and doors every time you leave the house.
