Such a ln amazing place to stayquiet and peaceful with beautiful views of the surrounding fields we took some walks around town and it was very cute town with a yummy bakery the house is clean and comfortable with a homely vibe the house itself is stunning and vintage our host was very quick and getting back to and we had to last minute change some dates and she was quick to reply and happy to change it for us overall it's a greatplace to stay and we would definitely stay again

Great stay for our annual group trip away. House was very cosy and had everything we needed. And the fire pit was exceptional for sitting around and relaxing. We loved it :)

Loved our stay. A great spot to unwind and get away from city life. So nice to walk down the long driveway with open space either side. A beautiful house with loads of history.

Lorendale is a fabulous place to stay if you have a large family and or travelling with a few families or group. Lots of space with lots of charm and history - great that it’s not far from Adelaide but still feels like your miles away with lots of country fields surrounding the property. We loved the indoor and outdoor fires, the different sitting rooms, games room with table tennis and the large dining room / which was perfect for us to host our Xmas in July dinner. Thanks for having us and we look forward to returning next year.

Beautiful, large and comfortable house in a lovely rural setting for two families. The beds were super comfy and there was lots of room for everyone. We had a wonderful time here sitting around the campfire and exploring the local area.

A lovely stay in the countryside

We really enjoyed the history of the old farmhouse, the warm fireplace kept us cozy during the cold nights. It was nice to wake up to views of the surrounding fields.

Rural wine & food retreat with friends & family

Great central location to Clare Valley & Barossa Valley to move between and explore the food and winery options. Felt great at the end of the day to relax on the verandah looking over the fields with a glass of wine and platter of local goodies.

Beautiful place to stay!

Was a nice experience for the family. Not usually country people but staying out there was a great opportunity to detox from the city life for a bit. Real peaceful and beautiful scenery. Would recommend 100%!

Wonderful property!

Our short stay at Lorondale homestead will hopefully not be the last. The home is fabulous and the location is so peaceful! Lots of bird-life and plenty of fresh air. Highly recommend a stay in this little piece of Australia.

Beautiful homestead

This was our second stay at the homestead. We used it as a base for some Heysen trail walks. We loved the fire place, spacious living areas and well equipped kitchen.

Generous farmhouse with space for a couple of families or one large one - we enjoyed the peaceful location and attractive character of this 100+ year-old property. Great stars at night as well!

Long Weekend at Lorondale

Beautiful house magnificent serene surrounds. Dogs ran free and loved it. Really enjoyed sitting around warm fires outdoors each night. Great place.
