Enjoy the prime location up the block from the Gondola Plaza of this 3 Bedroom 2 Bath ski in-out condo at the Durant in Aspen with wood burning fireplace. Rare 18 ft wide floor to ceiling glass windows with expansive views over Aspen/Ajax, Shadow Mountain and down valley create a tremendous sense of being outdoors. The Durant has a newer pool and hot tub in the common area renovated in 2018.

The Durant is on a quiet street with no thru traffic, yet in the heart of Aspen with easy access to restaurants, shops, transportation. Conveniently located equidistant between the Little Nell and the St. Regis and is located up the block from gondola plaza and the free skier shuttles to Snowmass, Highlands, and Buttermilk. Ski-in access is via a third floor access bridge to Ajax Mountain, skiers can also walk 1 block down to gondola for easy ski out access.

Flexible cleaning service available (daily - weekly).

Unit includes an outdoor ski locker near front door.

Parking available (one spot on site & one street parking permit; both uncovered).

The unit has slate floors, granite countertops, Subzero fridge,, and Grohe bathroom fixtures . The master bedroom includes a king size bed and en suite bath with double size shower. The two guest bedrooms include queen size beds and share a hall access bathroom with double sized shower. All bedrooms are fitted with Italian linens and down pillows (hypo allergenic pillows available upon advance request).

4 Flat Screen TV's in unit (3 DVD players): Living/Master/Queen bedrooms. Over 140+ cable channels (ESPN) and free WiFi access.

The location was great for my trip. Everything was walkable which was important because we arrived by motorcycles. And they allowed us to park two motorcycles in one spot. It was well equipped and the beds were nice.

The best rental in Aspen!

Our stay at this rental was amazing, 5+ stars! We’ve stayed at many rentals in Aspen over the past 15+ years and this has been the best yet, by far. The condo was spotless clean, with beautiful views and the best location just steps from town. The kitchen was also outfitted with anything you could need, and the linens & towels were very luxurious. The host Monique was extremely kind & responsive. We hope to stay here again!

Amazing Aspen Location

Our first time in Aspen and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The location was perfect, walking distance to all the restaurants and shops in Aspen and right around corner from the main lift up Aspen Mountain. The condo had easy parking right in front, was absolutely spotless and nicely stocked with everything we needed including a fireplace (with freshly cut wood and humidifiers in every bedroom. The owner was incredibly responsive and flexible from the very first time we inquired about the home until the day we left. Top notch accommodations, highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

Great location in the Aspen downtown core area!

You can walk everywhere, since the condo is so centrally located. We live that. It’s one block to the gondola and 2 blocks to the 1-A lift. The host is very responsive and flexible. We had a change of guests mid-week and she left clean sheets for us, for the switch-over. She let us come in a few hours early, too! Loved that! Overall the accommodations were super. This is our 2nd time in this exact condo, and 3rd time in this condo complex! We will come back again!

Aspen Christmas

Our stay over the week of Christmas was extraordinary. The condo was a 3 minute walk to downtown. Restaurants like the historic Paradise Bakery and great shopping from mountain gear to beautiful furs and jewelry or anything else you could want were all there. We love to cook and the kitchen had everything any great chef or mediocre cook like me would ever need to cook for your family.. We spent hours relaxing in front of the real wood burning fireplace which they supplied wood just 15 ft. from our door. The views of Ajax mountain were beautiful with the snow falling among the Christmas lights.. Being able to walk to town and not having to worry about parking or skiing straight to the gondola from the unit made things so convenient for us.. I would highly recomend staying here and enjoying everything from the great location to pool and hot tub and beautiful views.. full of peace and serenity..

Great Location. Super comfortable unit. Very responsive host. There was not much snow in Aspen this year, which made this unit even better for walking to town, and hanging out playing games, building puzzles and watching bowl games on TV. The kitchen is super well stocked so we were able to eat in and not go out for every meal. There are a fair amount of stairs up to the unit, so beware if that's an issue. We would definitely rent this unit again.

After years of searching for the perfect Aspen getaway, I bought at the Durant because it is the heart of Aspen, but the mountain adjacent location combined with floor to ceiling glass windows brings in the great outdoors.

What makes this property unique

The property is ski in/out to Aspen mountain via a 3rd floor access bridge and up the block from Gondola plaza. It is the heart of town (on the two blocks between the St. Regis and The Little Nell, for those who like access to world class hotels) yet incredibly private. The complex is located on a street which ends on the mountain, so there is no thru traffic; this ensures both quiet, privacy, and more natural setting.
