Great Location!! Located on a quiet street in the heart of Banff, just a 2 min walk from Banff Avenue with all its fantastic shops, restaurants, grocery/liquor stores and ski bus stops. Perfect for families or groups of up to 8 ppl who would benefit from a separate suite for grandparents, adult children or friends. The chalet is newly renovated with an open plan living/dining, vaulted ceiling, sleek kitchenette, washer/dryer, balcony, mountain views and gas fireplace. The property is officially licensed with self check-in, ample off-street parking and fast reliable WiFi.


The upper 2 floors feature 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large open plan living and dining area with vaulted ceilings, modern kitchen, washer/dryer, and a balcony with incredible mountain views. The bright and cozy lower suite has its own private exterior entrance on the opposite side of the house, and features 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, living area & kitchenette. Perfect for the grandparents, adult children, or a couple that enjoys their own space.

UPPER 2 FLOORS
Bedroom 1 (Master) is located on the main floor and has en suite bathroom with 2 vanity sinks, walk-in shower, king bed, desk and daybed.
Bedroom 2 is located on the main floor and has a queen bed with private bathroom across the hallway with deep tub/shower.
Bedroom 3 is located on the top floor, off the living area and has a queen bed with en suite bathroom and walk-in shower.
The living area is located on the top floor and is bright with vaulted ceilings and includes a sofa and comfortable seating, gas fireplace, 4K Samsung Smart TV with Netflix, large dining table, kitchenette with espresso and Keurig coffee machines, microwave, 2 burner cooktop, large fridge/freezer, ample dishes and glasses, large sink, dishwasher. NO OVEN or BBQ.
Other amenities include desk/work area with views located in main living room, bar table with 2 stools, Bluetooth speaker, board games.The large west facing balcony is accessed from the living area and has incredible mountain views.

Hallway closet next to front door has plenty of storage space for hiking boots, jackets, backpacks, skis and ski boots.
Washer/dryer is conveniently located on the main floor.

LOWER SUITE
The lower suite has its own private outside entrance and features 1 king bedroom, 1 bathroom with tub/shower, kitchenette with 2 burner stove top, microwave and fridge/freezer (NO OVEN), and living area with sofa, 4k smart TV and workspace.

LOCATION: We are located on a side street, one street away from Banff Avenue with all its excellent cafes, shops and restaurants. The IGA grocery store, liquor store, drug store and Good Earth Cafe are within a 2 min walk away.
The Bow River walking trail is a 5 min walk away, The Tunnel Mountain hiking trail is a 5 min walk away. The Banff Springs Hotel is a 15-20 min walk away. The Bow Falls are 20 min river walk away. The Sulphur Mountain Gondola is a 10min drive. If you have young children, the large school playing field is just down the road.

FREE PARKING: We provide free off street parking where you can leave your car for your entire stay. If you are arriving early into town please let us know as you are welcome to park with us prior to check-in.

SKIING & SNOWBOARDING
During the winter months the Black Bear Chalet is popular with skiers and snowboarders and is the perfect base for visiting Banff's world class ski resorts of Sunshine Village, Lake Louise and Norquay. After a day on the slopes, unwind in the cozy Chalet, or walk just 3 mins into downtown for a well-earned après ski dinner in one of Banff’s many excellent restaurants.
Well-stocked ski and snowboard shops and rentals are just 5 mins walk away, and the ski bus stop is an easy 3 min flat walk from the Chalet.


OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
The owners live in the same building in a completely separate unit at the back of the property.
The kitchen has a 2 burner cooktop and microwave but please note due to Town of Banff rules there is no oven.
There are 6 outside stairs up to the entrance of the chalet. There are 2 bedrooms on the main level, and a flight of stairs up to the living area, balcony and 3rd bedroom.
There are 6 outside stairs up to the entrance of the lower suite, and a flight of stairs down to the suite where the 4th bedroom is located. There is no interior access between the lower suite and the rest of the house.
