This 1800 sq ft, two-bedroom-plus-a-den (sleeps up to 6, but very comfortable for 4 guests), on 2 levels, a unique penthouse in a private wing at the Grande Rockies Resort. It has commanding mountain views including that from a large, private, rooftop deck complete with an exclusive hot tub. Enjoy heated underground parking. This upscale condo includes all that you will need, to feel like you are a valued guest. The resort includes guest amenities – an indoor swimming pool, water slide, indoor/outdoor hot tub, a children’s water pool, a fitness room, landscaped grounds, inviting lounge and the Grande Kitchen & Bar, which offers gourmet fare in a lively, relaxed atmosphere. Walking distance to groceries, shopping, restaurants and town centre.
The Town of Canmore affords easy access to recreation opportunities in the Smith-Dorrien Valley, Banff National Park, Peter Lougheed Provincial Park, the Bow Valley Wildlands and the Elbow-Sheep Wildlands. Within Canmore, easy family activities include biking or hiking along the Bow River and on the 70km of maintained trails inside the town boundaries – picnicking in any one of the many town parks (at least 10), including a bathing beach at Quarry Park – checking out Canmore’s new indoor playground, Elevation Place - browsing through the town’s myriad of fine shops and galleries. Amazing Getaway Property with Everything You Need

We loved our stay at Linda’s place. The pool was a hit with the kids and the rooftop hot tub was perfect when they finally went down. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic time in Banff

Instead of giving everyone money at Christmas this year, I said I wanted to make memories! My family decided a winter vacation would be fun and exciting as they never had had one before. We searched and searched and found this property on VRBO. We booked it and everything went smooth as satin. Linda is fantastic as the honor. Her directions were spot on, everything worked, the condo is beautiful. The hot tub was a godsend and I can’t speak highly enough about every single aspect of this property the service and the area. The location was right downtown. We were able to get in and out of Banff without any problem. I would go back in a heartbeat!Oh hi to Cohen and Black and Blue do you wanna be? I don’t know maybe maybe I tell you have an elevated really feels good. Are you gonna do yourself generally OK all right OK there’s a nice and black today.

CANMORE stay

The place was awesome. Had everything you needed for a family of 4. Was clean and comfortable the host was very easy to work with. The parking spot is extra large and easily fit our large SUV. The location was very close to restaurants and grocery stores. Was a great stay, I highly recommend it.

Really enjoyed our stay! Situated in Canmore is perfect location, close to Banff and all that the Rockies have to offer! Private rooftop hot tub was one of the many highlights after a day of skiing. This was our first Christmas family vacation with our now grown children. Made some unforgettable memories and this place made it that much more special!

Perfect Base Camp

This condo in Canmore is the perfect base camp for all of your activities while visiting Banff National Park and Canmore. The views from both levels are spectacular. The house is in excellent condition, very clean with the furnishings and amenities excellent. The hosts provided everything you need to make the stay comfortable. Kitchen, bathroom and linen supplies all provided and plentiful. The Host are extremely attentive. While they were out of town during our stay they had their manager, Rhona, available as our contact. Rhona was extremely helpful with checkin and checkout and was in constant contact to make sure our stay was pleasant. We had one issue with the hot tub and within an hour Rhona had us in touch with the owner who called me directly and walked me through the issue. We can’t say enough about this place and the owners. Just know you will not be disappointed with the location, amenities and attention you get from this host property.

Great location and accommodations. Loved the kitchen and views from the balcony. The third bedroom with no window and no vent was very warm and adult kids were unable to sleep in there. Should be fine in winter months.

Place was amazing, and so were hosts. Very responsive. Only issue we found that 3rd room that was listed has no AC or ventilation so it becomes really hot in the night. Surely that problem would not exists in winters.

A relaxing haven after challenging hikes

Our stay in Canmore was as scintillating as the lakes. The condo is located in a remarkably quiet section of the Grande Rockies resort. The location is convenient to shopping and groceries. We hiked regularly during our stay, such as Paget Peak, The Plain of the Six Glaciers, and the Valley of the Ten Peaks, but to soak in our own hot tub afterwards while admiring Ha Ling Peak felt like an exquisite sanctuary. The unit is tastefully decorated and has very comfortable furniture. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped for cooking meals, but there is also a gas grill on the patio that we utilized as well. The adjustable A/C enabled us to sleep well during the nights. My oldest son remarked on how comfortable the downstairs bedroom was and how appreciative he was of the consistent hot water in the shower. My wife reflected on the quality and the convenience of the restaurant within the resort: The Grande. But also wanted to emphasize that locations, such as Tooloulou's, Melissa's Missteak, and Rocky Mountain Flatbread were highlights from a culinary standpoint. I thought the really superlative aspect to our stay was the extraordinary customer service we received. When we had questions about how to operate the grill, the access to the Euros football championship, or the need for a coffee grinder, Rhona quickly responded to our communications, and enlisted the aid of the owners Jim and Linda if it could not be immediately resolved. Thank you. We would love to come again.

Highly recommend

We have stayed at the resort before in 2019, previous apartment was already booked so looked for another similar. We cannot fault our hosts, quick to communicate, clear instructions with lots of useful information in the apartment. The building itself is a little tired and we did not use any facilities, however the apartment is high spec and very well equipped. It’s is spacious and with 2 couples sharing the space for a week it was not an issue. Canmore is a charming town, 1 & 1/2 hour drive from Calgary and 30 minutes into Banff park. We have visited in Summer and winter and both times have been amazing. Our hosts even put out a Christmas Tree for us as our stay was over the Christmas time. Thank you for being wonderful hosts and sharing your apartment.

Friends Birthday Celebration

The condo was exactly what we expected. Located in a good area of Canmore close to town, beautiful river, and surrounded by mountains. Everything was just as the owner described. I really appreciated the large parking spot in the underground parking garage since I was driving a big SUV.

Excellent Location and a Wonderful Stay

We had an excellent stay at this property. The location was a wonderful base for our daily adventures and allowed the more energetic members or our family to walk to town after our adventures. The communication with the property manager before and during our stay was excellent. The kitchen was very well equipped and the grill was an excellent option for us. We had one minor issue with some equipment and the property manager addressed it within an hour on a rainy evening. Excellent service!

Property description not thorough

The apartment was very nice at first sight, because the living room with the integrated kitchen is actually very spacious and beautiful. But, and this "but" plays an important role, one bedroom had no windows at all and another bedroom did have a window, but this window opened towards the living room. The room with no window was stuffy, dark, and no room for a bedside lamp.I feel this definitely should have been mentioned in the listing description.

Gateway to Banff

Lovely accommodations in a large condo / hotel building. Perfect for 4 adults and two kids sharing a bed. The apartment is large with excellent furnishings and amenities and mountain views. The private deck and hot tub cannot be beat. We used the shared pool and indoor/outdoor hot tub as well. Underground parking is convenient, but does not work for taller vehicles or cargo boxes on most SUVs. Convenient to downtown Canmore, short drive to Banff. Everything we needed and more!
