2 Bedroom, 1.5 Bathrooms, Sleeps 6. Welcome to our cozy condo in the middle of the Rockies, where there is always lots to do! Located in the Canmore Crossing Complex, our "Happy Place" includes two bedrooms and a queen pull-out sofa in the main living area. The spacious master bedroom features a king size bed and the second bedroom/den (no window) includes a queen bed, both with luxurious linens. Both rooms have remote controlled ceiling fans. The bedrooms share a large "jack and jill" bathroom, which includes a bathtub, separate shower and in-floor heating. There is also a convenient half-bath off the main living area.

We are family friendly, and offer a Harmony "Play and Go" portable crib/playpen, and a booster seat which can be attached to a dining chair for the little ones. Our games, books and dvd's are suitable for kids of all ages.

The kitchen is very well-stocked to meet all your culinary needs, and we will supply the coffee and tea to get your morning started! Grocery stores, liquor stores, restaurants and downtown are all within walking distance. Underground heated parking access is available, as well as ski and bike storage. A stone gas fireplace will keep you warm after taking to the slopes in the winter.

Our corner deck includes a barbecue and features incredible views of the Grotto and Lady MacDonald Mountains. Enjoy our large television with a good cable package, excellent WIFI, a DVD player with movies and a good selection of board games for both kids and adults. We are part of a three building condo unit. Two rooftop hot tubs in the adjacent buildings offer spectacular panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains, and there is an indoor hot tub in our building. There is also an exercise room in each building, and Elevation Place is nearby, which has a swimming pool, climbing gym and full fitness centre. The ROAM Transit bus stop is across the street, to take you around Canmore and nearby Banff if you do not want to drive.

In the condo we have a binder including many suggestions on places to explore in the area. Come and indulge yourself in this cozy boutique mountain retreat--you will find out why Canmore has always been our happy place. Please feel free to contact us with any questions. We'd love to hear from you!

This condo entirely earns its top ratings. One of the best equipped and most comfortable rentals I have experienced in many years of travel. The hosts are incredibly accommodating and you truly feel like you are staying at a friend's home. Great location within easy walking distance of groceries, restaurants, activities. Rooftop hot tub is a nice plus!

Gem in Canmore

This place was a gem. It had an excellent location, steps away from the grocery store and other shops/amenities. The kitchen was very well equipped and it even came with many extras such as spices, honey, peanut butter… It was very cozy and with heated floors in certain parts. The decor & artwork was a nice touch as well! We’ll definitely look into booking this place again!

About the host

Hosted by Cindy Haugen and Rob Munro

Cindy fell in love with the mountains of Canmore when she visited them with her Grandma as a little girl. As a University of Calgary student, she and Rob got engaged at Lake Minnewanka near Canmore. They have been married now for over 29 years and have two adult sons. They have enjoyed coming back to Canmore regularly and are very happy to own property in the town they pledged their love.

Why they chose this property

Once you see the mountains of Canmore you will understand why we love this town. The views are incredible, and there is always lots to do, from hiking, skiing to picnicking. We hope to retire in Canmore someday.

What makes this property unique

We love this condo because it is within walking distance to downtown and all the amenities you require. Sometimes we park our vehicle in the parkade and it doesn't move until we grudgingly have to go home! We fell in love with the view, the roof top hot tubs and the stone fireplace in the living area. This is our happy place--our home away from home.
