Great place to chill out and enjoy time away from the crowds.
Many thanks to Sue and Tony for making our stay so pleasant and memorable. They are truly awesome friendly hosts.
Sue is an amazing host, very welcoming and made sure that we had everything we needed. Was around for a good yarn and gave us some of her fresh fruit from her garden.
Beautiful quirky accommodation steeped in history. Good location too, will definitely be back !
A rather quirky place but very appealing. Lovely being close to the beach in a very quiet neighbourhood. The fresh vegetables supplied by Sue were a very nice touch.
This was a great find for an elderly couple seeking 3 nights accommodation 5 mins from Haumoana.
Very uniquely furnished showing some Hawkes Bay history and very interesting wall paper maps.
Fully recommend for those looking for something very unique, roomy and comfortable.
Beautiful cottage, with everything you need. Super close access to the beach, local trails and wineries. Not too far from town (approx 9km from Havelock North), beautiful property and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful with activities in and around the area. We were there for a triathlon camp but would love to go back to just enjoy the surroundings.
The accommodation was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Sue and Tony were very hospitable. Te Awanga is a special part f the country. Two thumbs up!
Exactly as described and very comfortable fir the 2 nights we stayed. Well equipped and very clean. We were visiting the area for a concert and arrived late in the evening but Sue met us with a friendly smile.
I would definitely recommend this quirky little place and wouldn’t hesitate to visit again for a bit longer.
Really friendly, helpful owner made us very welcome. Great communication. Fascinating, quirky place exactly as shown in photos. Spotlessly clean. Great location for local beach, Cape Kidnappers and exploring Havelock North, Te Mata Peak, vineyards...
If we could could give 5 more stars to Sue we would because we had such an amazing time there. The surrounding area was peaceful and relaxing. Sue was so kind and welcoming. Thank you Sue!
