Waterfall is a destination villa that guests often find difficult to leave. There's the enduring lure of the gorgeous National Park beaches and beautiful views of Fish Bay and beyond – all the way to St. Croix. It's a spectacular villa with privacy and amenities galore. Sit beneath the waterfall in one of St. John's largest solar-heated, infinity edge swimming pools and feel the tranquility. After an invigorating workout in the air-conditioned gym, relax in the poolside six-person spa while you contemplate dining under the stars in the romantic dining gazebo. This is a villa that casts a spell and makes you want to never leave!

Waterfall offers both indoor and outdoor lounging areas. There are flat screen LCD TV's in the bedrooms and the living room. It was designed for easy living with two bedrooms having inside access and on the same level as the pool and spa. All 3 bedrooms are equal-sized with beautiful water views and ensuite baths. An entry ramp from the driveway simplifies access for those who find stairs difficult. A fully-equipped, air-conditioned office with whole-house WIFI is available for those who need to stay connected. A large, automatic 28 kilowatt generator keeps everything running smoothly when power outages occur.

It is a beautiful villa with spectacular views. The bed was very comfortable and the place was very clean. The pool is amazing and the house is very comfortable and would definitely be roomy enough for two or three couples or a family. The location is perfect (we loveThe south shore), easy ride into Cruz Bay, the North shore's beaches and quick ride to Centerline road and east side of the island.

Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Waterfall the first time we came to St. John, then we tried out Coral Bay, then Upper Peter Bay...but our 4th year coming here, we came back to Waterfall. It's been our favorite house by far. The pool and pool deck are gorgeous and inviting. House was immaculate and beds were super comfortable. It's hard leaving those north shore beaches, but we always loved coming "home". Highly recommend, and we'll be back!

This year we needed to find a new villa and Waterfall looked like the perfect spot. It did not disappoint. Everything thing we needed was there. The view is spectacular! The pool was warm, but refreshing. After the fifth time, we mastered the driveway!

Everything was superb (driveway challenging, but doable, harder for Floridians unused to elevation changes, LOL). Great split floorplan gives everyone privacy. You literally can't hear noise from any of the bedrooms even when one of your party (me) gets up at the crack of dawn. Nicely appointed kitchen, beautiful views, AC in bedrooms is spectacular, Tradewind breezes keep the main house cool (we left our windows and sliders open when home). Pool and spa are refreshing and therapeutic after a long day of adventuring around St John. We LOVED having dinner in the gazebo! Overall a really great place to stay. Thank you Catered To!

Like the other review say the driveway was tricky the first couple times. Are greeter laughed at our faces when we first saw it. But by the end we were navigating it with no problem. It was such a wonderful relaxing place with everything you need. We joked in the guest book that if you hear anything at night it's just us because we just hid under the bed and check out lol.

Could not have asked for more and hope to return again!

We really enjoyed the view and the kids (11,13) spent a lot of home time between the pool and the hot tub. There was plenty of space and the amenities were great. Generator was a huge benefit when power went out on the island. Couple of things that we should note were that you had to rent a car because taxis were not readily available. Drive is difficult so be prepared. We parked at the top of the steep driveway because owners car was in driveway and getting in and out was quite an effort. Lastly, the kid’s room was separated from the main house because my mother stayed upstairs. They were a little scared if they weren’t together but it was fine. We really enjoyed our visit in all.

All three bedrooms have king sized beds and are similarly sized, so no one couple got the short end of the stick. The AC was great, all appliances worked perfectly, the house was super clean, and the view, pool, and hot tub were all out of this world. With a 6 person group, we would come here and stay again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful view, remote location, some hiccups...

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is gorgeous but in need of some basic repair. The hot tub had a broken display, and cracked casing where the control panel is. The pool and hot tub were fairly dirty when we arrived and we needed to skim and vaccum. The high touch surfaces like countertops, light switches, and door knobs were filthy. There was dried ketchup on the front door resembling a murder scene. So, we needed to clean on arrival, unfortunately. The check in time was 3pm, which is when we got there. The concierge met us at our jeep rental office and escorted us to the villa. She gave an orientation tour, then left. We then left to get groceries at the local store. When we returned, we found that someone had entered our villa without us present, to put "complimentary" snacks in our fridge. This was a jarring experience, as we expected to have privacy on our honeymoon and not have some random provisions company enter when we were out without our permission or prior knowledge. However, nobody at CateredTo, nor the provision company, seemed to understand why this was a problem causing stress to 2 female occupants. Aside from the necessary cleaning needing to be done on arrival, and some random person entering our site when we were not there within the first 2 hours of arriving, our stay was quite pleasant. I would caution this management company on check in processes in the future as it relates to the personal safety and security of the renters, and AT THE VERY LEAST - inform your customers of this "complimentary" service they may or may not receive.

Having the main portion of the house on the same level as the pool topped it off. Not to mention the spectacular views from our bedroom, the living room, the back porch, and pool. The tranquil sound of the waterfall in the pool was incredibly relaxing.The house itself was very comfortable and inviting. Even the squiggly driveway added fun character!Catered To has always been a true joy to work with!

It's laid back island living (which we love) so we don't expect everything to be perfectly maintained, but for the rental fee we paid, we did somewhat expect a better maintained property. The master bath windows weren't functional, and there were holes in the screens, so we awoke to HUNDREDS of bugs on the ceiling. We plugged the holes with toilet paper and then had to stand on a ladder to vacuum up the bugs. Cabinets in kitchen/bathroom need a refresh, and the generator kicked on RIGHT away when power went out (we had our Christmas dinner in the oven)... but it never got power to the house! We couldn't find any switches to enable it to do so, and there was no info on the process in the rental folder. Since it was Christmas, we didn't want to bother anyone, so we called your office the next day and reported the issue. The person we spoke with didn't apologize, just "took the report" and we never heard back. This was disappointing because it was one of the reasons we chose the house. Those things said, we had a fantastic time on St. John and really look forward to heading back soon.

A Villa With a View!

And the drive to Waterfall the first time is not for the faint of heart, especially at night! But, it is all worth it when you wake up in the morning to the view of Fish Bay! Waterfall is a great villa to rent and I appreciate the "Villa for Dummies" instruction the owner left which took out all the guess work on how everything worked. Waterfall is a well equipped, comfortable villa for a vacation. They have thought of everything to make your vacation stay enjoyable. Catered To was also a great property manager. They were very responsive if there was something that needed to be fixed and I appreciated their flexibility in allowing us a later check-out time since our ferry did not leave for St. Thomas until 2:00 p.m. Overall, Waterfall is a great place to stay.

Poorly Maintained

Reviewer Comments: Villa Waterfall is a beautiful house with a spectacular view, but it has not been maintained well by the rental agent Catered To. The house has not been maintained properly. There were many things that had not been cleaned and many things in the house that were broken. The 3rd downstairs bedroom I paid for but it could not be used due to a bug infestation and a broken smoke detector. In the left upstairs bedroom the mattress had bugs in it. A drawer in the Kitchen had thousands of Mites in it. Swimming pool had not been cleaned. I was told the pool would be cleaned on a specific date. The cleaner never showed up. When I complained and he finally came he told me he did come. He lied. We were home all day. He never showed up. I gave a list of repairs & cleaning that needed to be done, the list wasn’t addressed until 3 days prior to our 14 night stay ending, and then it wasn’t completed. Based on the lack of proper maintenance this is a very tired house. There are many beautiful Villas on St John. I suggest you rent from any rental agency except Catered To, they are terrible.

We rented on AirBnb and the description did not mention the main living area was not AC. Catered To brought us fans and were great. The TVs in the house are very small and dated. Did have a nice supply of DVDs to watch on small tvs. The view is awesome. Pool floats great and beach chairs and umbrellas were a nice touch. No more than one car will really fit down the steep driveway. The 3rd bedroom is not accessible from the inside of the house. Have to go outside and two flights of stairs. Kitchen was good. The house is somewhat dated but comfortable.

Wonderful Family Vacation Home

We always looked forward to returning to the house and relaxing at the pool. The kitchen and grill were great for making family meals and the house came with many great features we all enjoyed like outdoor speakers and AC in the bedrooms. The house was about a 10 minute drive to Cruz Bay. We loved that it was close but not too close. The privacy of the house was something we loved! Our boys have already asked when can we return!

A Wonderful Week at Waterfall

Waking up to the views overlooking Fish Bay was magical, as was eating in the gazebo for dinners almost every night. We loved listening to the songbirds at night, as our two boys swam and played in the amazing pool. The house was very clean and there was a welcome basket upon arrival. We used Landlubber Logistics to deliver our groceries, which was awesome after a long travel day. When we motivated to leave the house, we tried different beaches every day. Our favorite dinner out was Lime Inn, delicious food and a great vibe all around. Catered To made it all very easy. This was our first visit to St. John and we will absolutely be back!
