Leonie, we are so pleased that you had an enjoyable stay in Hawker.
We had a lovely stay and appreciated the freshly baked bread and hot coffee on arrival. It was also really fortunate that the home was connected to a small battery back up to power the fridge and some lights when we lost power during a storm.

A little piece of history amongst other little pieces of history. A home away from home. The host is exceptional, welcoming and helpful. The peace is to die for, the surrounding views and hidden treasures to explore to live for. Great stay!!

Wonderful 3 days. Wish we could have stayed longer. Everything excellent. Nigel went above and beyond what we expected to find here. Back garden with named native plants was wonderful to see.

Thank you Margaret. We are so pleased that you had a wonderful stay in Hawker. All the very best. Nigel
An excellent host who had thought of everything. We arrived to the smell of freshly-baked bread, with a personalised card and treats left for all of us. There were heaps of breakfast options available, with different types of milk provided as well. The house was spotlessly clean, and Nigel had thought of and provided everything we could need - from deck chairs to hiking poles to local information. Would love to stay again.

Great, comfortable, well stocked, dog friendly, house
This house is set up really well and has everything you could possibly need from spices to folding chairs. - Also comfy beds, plenty of space, a nice secure yard, outdoor seating, games, and heating everywhere, which is needed in winter! The local information provided was really useful and the house location was great for walking to the shops as well as the dog park. We really enjoyed the area for our first Flinders visit in winter. Only one thing to be aware of is that one bedroom also acts as a corridor. Nigel is prompt and super helpful. We would be happy to stay there again.

PS A big thank you for your lovely gift.
We had a well equipped house to ourselves. It was clean and comfortable.
The paper work in the house shows the checkout time as 11am. Apparently it's 10am however.
Enjoyed my weekend break at Hawker B&B. Has everything you need. Very clean. Great selection of breakfast choices, and the freshly baked bread is a nice touch. Nigel was there to welcome on arrival, and can answer any questions you have. Dog friendly with a very secure backyard. Recommend if you need a base to explore the southern Flinders Ranges.
