The house was better than we expected with huge outdoor area and big rooms, lovely kitchen, bathroom and the bar area with dart board was an added bonus. We loved being close to the river and beach and not too far away from Hokitika for supplies. Being dog friendly meant the whole family could be on holiday together :)

A guest, great communication and very respectful. I pleased that you liked the wee added extras. Lovely to get this feedback.
Me and my family had a really great stay at Karen and Dean's house. Extremely clean, very comfortable, and plenty of small extras that make you go "Wow - these guys care about their guests and want them to have a memorable stay". It was well located for me and my family to explore the awesome West Coast of the South Island. A great spot to return to after long days of hiking, or driving. We even gave the fire-heated outdoor bath ago, and had an incredible experience at night viewing the stars. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.
Great location, great set up, easy instructions to follow

Excellent holiday home, everything there you’d ever want, and clean and tidy. Expansive lawns and garden make this a great place to relax. Nice beach about 2km down the road.

Great communication and very respectful guests A+++
Absolutely loved our stay in the remote part of the west coast. We were happy to stay compose to home as it’s such a beautiful spot surrounded by great lawns for cricket and frisbee and amazing rocks to find along the river that runs along the back of the properly. House was warm and offered all the comforts of home. The fire bath under the stars was pretty special. We’d love to come back!
Fantastic property to spend some time on the coast. Great beach a couple of clicks down the road for walks/dogs or amateur 4WDing. The house itself is warm and comfortable and the bar/games area in the garage a cool addition. Only regret was we didn't book for longer.
