Vacationed here with our two small children. Beach was perfect, water was shallow with sandy bottom. The cottage has a great layout with everything you need. Great screened gazebo to watch the hummingbirds and enjoy the view. Hope to stay here again!
It snowed quite a bit when I was there and the snow removal was done in a reasonable time frame and the cabin came with everything you need to have a comfortable stay.
We rented the place for the family weekend in February and had a great time. Its a spacious place, clean and good taken care of. We stayed with our family of six and enjoyed the place, the area
Great fire pit, location was peaceful, cottage was clean and organized. Could have used a water toy like a canoe or kayak

Hi Rebecca, thank you for review. Glad you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunately our insurance does not allow us because of the liability but we welcome guests to bring their own or rent them in Timmins.
Good location for trailering to Timmins. Cabin was great for the 6 of us and everything we needed. Plenty of room for truck/trailers and everything we needed for an excellent experience.
This cottage is on a beautiful, shallow lake. The fishing was excellent. The cottage is stocked with everything that you could need. My family of 7 had a wonderful time. We can't wait to go back!
Fantastic property for our group. Lots of room for everyone to have their own space. Owner was very approachable and prompt with issues. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back if the opportunity arises
The cottage is close to the lake and offers a beautiful setting with Loon in the evenings. Thankfully no noisy neighbours with loud music and drinking nearby. Just perfect for people trying to escape the hustle of city life and suburbia! Did not know that there are so many Hummingbirds in Timmins!
We were at a bonspiel at the curling club in Timmins. We were able to relax between games and cook meals. The wood stove is amazing. The cottage is about 40 minutes from the club, so it was a bit of a drive, but worth it.
A lovely, comfortable property to stay in which is very well appointed and has all the facilities and equipment one needs for an enjoyable visit. The presence of an outside seating area which is covered with ‘bug’ netting is a very useful addition and one can watch the feeding chipmunks and squirrels on the decking easily from there or from inside the house. Lots to do and see locally with quiet trails and Provincial Parks within striking distance. The ability to have a campfire is a great addition.
It was a perfect stay. The lake was beautiful, would be perfect for a family with younger kids, very shallow, sandy and clear water. The cottage has everything and more, there wasn’t a time that we felt we were missing anything. Sylvie was a perfect host! Next time we head north we will book again. Thanks for everything!
Didn't get to see the lights but saw some pretty spectacular stars! It was very peaceful and serene. Appreciated the ability to connect with the owner quickly when needed.
Cottage was exactly as described. Communication from the host was prompt. Right on the water. Nice views. Water was clear and shallow with sandy bottom great for kids. It was extremely hot the week we were there so air conditioning would have been nice but fans did help. Only complaint was water pressure was very weak. Otherwise great stay.
We loved the property and the wildlife We were looking for a private cottage to go away and was quite turned off that when they finally gave us the address there were neighbors right there ...There was quite a bunch of stuff that was very old and didnt work well ...the sliding doors are very hard to open and my 6 yr old had to use 2 hands to open one on handle and one on the glass door to open which then bit her finger between the 2 doors and she was injured and bleeding and quite upset as her finger was quite badly cut ...Even though we wanted a private cottage we were happy we still went as it was a very nice location and the family had a blast
