Designed to be enjoyed both indoors and outdoors, the Whitehouse is bright and spacious and an effortless three minute walk to the beach. This four bedroom holiday home is surrounded by a secure, high-fenced landscaped garden with tropical Queensland flora including gingers, yuccas and coconut palms. Relax in the poolside gazebo, dive straight in to cool down and then dry off on one of the sun lounges. Inside, The Whitehouse is decorated in pale colours, true to its name, with coastal motifs. The house is fully air-conditioned with ceiling fans throughout. The open central area off the entry provides for communal gatherings, however, the sleeping quarters are quite private. The Whitehouse sleeps eight, across four bedrooms. Each room has crisp white linen, fluffy bath and beach towels, built in wardrobes, large windows with roller blinds and bedside tables. There are two and a half bathrooms. The main bedroom has an ensuite, that leads to the laundry. The other larger bedroom has a half ensuite (shower and basin), that connects to the main bathroom. The main bathroom has a bath/shower, basin and WC. There is also an outdoor shower to rinse the salt and sand off. The large, well-appointed Miele kitchen makes cooking a pleasure (even on holidays) or let the Webber do all the hard work in the alfresco dining area. Glasses, crockery, cutlery, cookware, bakeware and picnic-ware are in abundance at the Whitehouse. The Whitehouse has excellent WIFI and a smart TV. You can access your own streaming service through Telstra-TV or Google Chrome. There is a DVD player with an extensive movie library, and there’s a small selection of board games and books (just in-case the rain sets in). The house has off-street parking in the driveway and is close to family friendly parks. The Whitehouse is only a three minute stroll from the beachfront and Williams Esplanade; its international eateries, day spas, boutiques and of course, Palm Cove itself; the beach, the magical view of Double and Haycock Islands and that horizon that has made Palm Cove an iconic destination ... and the family friendly local tavern is conveniently located on the same block. This perfectly located holiday house has everything you need to make your stay in Palm Cove memorable, so what are you waiting for ? Grab your cossie and get cracking !

Evian is a great host, excellent communication and was very flexible in terms of our flight changes and requiring a late checkout.
The property is in a good location, walking distance to everything Palm Cove has to offer, however the apartment buildings next door are quite close and loud so windows need to be shut at night.
The property has a good layout for two families or a large family. However, the beds aren’t very comfortable, the advertisement states they are a queen, however the mattresses aren’t very good so you end up rolling into one another.
Pool is a great touch, just a shame the weather was not hot when we visited and couldn’t make the most of it
