At home on the water

Six of us stayed for Memorial Day weekend and had a great time. We were able to dock a boat on the water and were never more than a 5 minute drive for the essentials (coffee, groceries, booze and take out). The washer and dryer came in handy and the outdoor space was perfect

Home away from Home

The house was very nicely decorated and clean. The outside area with pool and jacuzzi was relaxing and serene. There was an issue with a loud pool pump but the agency took care of it and it got fixed. Definitely a nice VRBO!

Easy check in process. Our family had a great time. Easy access to the gulf from boat. The house was clean. We had one issue with the sink and it was taken care of quickly. Everyone taking care of the property was friendly and helpful.

Awesome rental

The house was great, exactly as advertised. Great location on the canal. Very peaceful and we enjoyed the screened in pool every day we were there. It was exceptionally clean and well taken care of. The whole process was hassle free which is much appreciated. If we get back down to that area again we will definitely rent this house again if available. Thank you.

Birthday for Mon's 80th birthday

The house was exactly as the listing said it would be. Check in was a breeze. We had 7 adults and the space was very adequate. Pool was great, hot tub works great. Outside living area was exactly as we needed. We had a great time. Very close to everything, only minutes for multiple restaurants and grocery stores. I would recommend it to anyone.

Roy Hobbs World Series 2023

My self and 3 teammates stayed here! House was very clean. Everything was as advertised!! It felt like a home away from home! Only a couple issues with 2 bedroom TVs not working but was fixed right away. I would definitely recommend this or any Roelens properties to stay at!! We’ve been coming down for Roy Hobbs World Series for 4yrs and this is the 2nd Roelens property we’ve stayed at and will continue to book properties through them!!

Needs an owner that maintains property

Leak from upstairs shower down to main floor bath light fixture, owner came and looked and never sent anyone out to fix and we were there 2 weeks, microwave did not work, which we also showed owner, never got fixed, property needs upkeep- 1/2 blinds missing in LR. Good location, killing bugs all week, nice pool, beds were good, hot tub was dirty when we checked in and made pool guy clean it 5 days later. Won’t go back to this property.

Updates Needed

Heated pool and hot tub are fabulous! Grill is great and kitchen is very well stocked for large group cooking at home. All patio furniture and all sliding doors need to be replaced. The frosted glass door that leads to the pool/master bathroom does not provide adequate privacy. Photos on VRBO are outdated but the management company was responsive to our requests.

Nic facility for larger groups

This was a very nice facility. We were impressed with the layout of the house as well as the amenities. The property manager was very responsive even though we had no major issues. The only thing that was disappointing was the fact that the property advertised that they had a grill and we had planned to cook dinner at the house a few nights. Without the grill we had to go out more. Other than that it was very nice.

It actually was a nice home, needed a little updating, not enough toilet paper left there, and I understand we have to pick up our own but still. Even though the owner was pleasant, I did not really care for him coming to the backyard three times the last 2 days

Month Long Stay

The accommodations were as described online, however upon arrival we noticed that it’s time for a refresh at the Yacht Club. The online photos make things appear fresh and new, but in reality, things are showing signs of age and wear. Old bathroom linens, stained patio cushions and carpet could stand to be replaced. There were lightbulbs burned out in bathrooms and exhaust fans that run so loudly, in others, that you don’t want to turn on the lights. The main floor bathrooms didn’t have cold running water. The refrigerator at 40 degrees still froze fresh food and the ice maker / water dispenser was erratic and difficult to use. Some of the patio furniture had busted seats or no cushions at all. The only way to use the patio lights was to run an extension cord through an open window. With indoor / outdoor living visitors should beware of spiders, palmetto bugs and biting fleas on the patio. There were very few items for us to do any light cleaning, a broom, but no mop. All of these items may seem relatively small, in and of themselves, but we included them in the review because there were just so many issues. For the cost of the stay, we definitely expected better accommodations. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, flatware, cups, glassware and pots and pans. It was great to have 3 full bathrooms so no adults had to share their space. Nice heated pool and lanai with stunning palms and a beautiful canal view. The neighborhood was safe and walkable.

Spring Break 2021

The house was a good size for us. We liked the fact that we had the pool, hot tub and small fishing dock to help us stay “quarentined”. When we did venture out to Ft Myers beach it wasnt so crowded that we could feel safe as well.

Nice Home

Good location. The Kitchen and Pool area are amazing. Bedrooms are nice and beds are very comfortable. All the TV's were new with ROKU. AC worked well. Pool was nice and warm. With a little more updating, this house would be amazing.
