The stay was excellent it catered to all ages, we had everything we needed. The place was clean and tidy the beds were comfortable the facilities were great the ambiance was beautiful. All up a wonderful stay. Thanks Fi
Odd Frog Lodge was perfect for our family stay. There was plenty to do for the little ones, a large property where the boys could ride their bikes, play ball go for walks, feed the chickens, check out the lambs etc. The firepit was a hit with the adults when the children went to bed. Electric blankets and plenty of heating meant we were warm and cosy. Fiona was a lovely, generous host who brought us a dozen eggs from their chickens. We had a fabulous time.
The Lodge at Odd Frog Lodges is a wonderful place for a large group to stay in this beautiful area close to Mudgee. Our group of 10 adults stayed for 3 nights for a cycle event and it suited us very well. The kitchen is large and very well equipped and the living and dining areas generously sized for large groups. The owners have created many beautiful seating areas to enjoy their gardens and views of the surrounding countryside, both indoors and out. Sitting by the firepit under countless stars roasting marshmallows was one of the highlights of our stay. Truly a memorable weekend.
Fi was great to deal with - very responsive and friendly.
Probably good to know beforehand though is that there is a substantial creek crossing to get to the property and an SUV would be advised if you can bring one.
We would happily stay again (bringing a car with more clearance next time!). Thank you Fi for opening up your beautiful home to us.
