This countryside cottage combines contemporary styling with a relaxed rural atmosphere, surrounded by sweeping paddock views and the gentle rhythm of Mudgee’s countryside.

The open living area is arranged for unwinding after long days exploring nearby wineries, with comfortable seating and a large TV creating an easy place to relax. The kitchen is streamlined and practical, equipped with modern appliances and generous bench space for everyday cooking. Large windows frame the surrounding paddocks as you prepare meals, while the adjacent dining area brings everyone together for shared moments over food and conversation.

Outside, the undercover alfresco area encourages you to embrace the stillness of the landscape. Set up with outdoor dining, a BBQ, lounge seating, and a ceiling fan, it’s ideal for relaxed meals, sunset drinks, or quiet mornings with coffee as the light shifts across open farmland and vineyards in the distance.

Both bedrooms are designed as restful retreats, continuing the home’s calm, uncluttered feel. The primary bedroom offers a king bed and peaceful outlooks across the property. The second bedroom is thoughtfully arranged with two bunk beds (four singles), making it well-suited to families or groups seeking flexible sleeping arrangements. The bathroom includes a shower and modern vanity, while a separate toilet adds everyday convenience. A European-style laundry is neatly tucked away with a washer and sink, making longer stays easy and comfortable.

Set in Buckaroo just outside Mudgee, the cottage places you at the heart of one of the region’s most rewarding wine pockets. Within a short walk, explore Short Sheep Micro-winery or enjoy a tasting at Huntington Estate Winery, both known for intimate cellar-door experiences. A quick two-minute drive takes you to Pieter van Gent Winery, as well as the family-friendly Mudgee Miniature Railway.

Within a short drive, enjoy relaxed dining at local favourites such as Pipeclay Pump House or The Barn, both celebrated for their welcoming atmosphere and regional produce. Venture a little further into Mudgee’s town centre to discover cafés, bakeries, wine bars, restaurants, boutique shopping, galleries, and weekend markets—offering the perfect balance of rural escape and town convenience.
