Newly restored including refinishing the original fir floor complete with their charming squeaks, and listed on Nat register of historic places. The bungalow comfortably sleeps 2 in the queen bed, and one or 2 adults or children in the second bedroom with a trundle bed with 2 twin mattresses. Just one block walk to the heart of downtown Bend with its restaurants, pubs, galleries as well as visitors center,banks groceries/pharmacy. Historic Drake park on the Deschutes River is an easy stroll. McMenamins Complex with Turkish soaking bath is around the block. Perfect location to downtown Bend

The house was in an easy 5 minute walk into downtown Bend! My wife, 2 friends, and myself had enough room in the house and had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Would definitely stay again!

Delightful and close to town.

This is a very sweet and comfortable bungalow, with two bedrooms (queen bed in one, single with trundle in the other) connected by the bathroom. The kitchen is bright and very well-equipped. And we were pleasantly surprised to find a washer and dryer, making our trip easier to manage.The neighborhood is very quiet. It was a ten-minute walk to the excellent McMenamin pub. The banks of the nearby Deschutes River are chockablock with parks and walkways. Our stay was in early May, when the weather was pleasant, if sometimes a tad cool. It all encouraged pleasant walking.We will very definitely hope to stay here during our next visit to Bend.

The Belle Millhouse is a great place. Location is super - close to restaurants, grocery stores, everything one needs. Kitchen very well equipped. The host is extremely accommodating. Highly recommend.

Great long weekend in Bend!

This house is a great little place! Our little family of 4 had everything we needed for a weekend getaway and we enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores and to quietly observe the family of 3 deer that slept on the front lawn at night! So cute!

Best in Fall, Spring or Summer.

Lovely house but very cold. I slept with a hat and gloves on every night. The tv had 3 remote controls with inaccurate, hand written instructions. In other seasons with a new tv it would be perfect. It has an excellent kitchen.

Great location… easy walk to the downtown restaurants and stores. Home was very comfortable, nice furnishings and the updated kitchen was a huge plus. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit to the Bend area.

What makes this property unique

This house is located is a quiet neighborhood so near the epicenter of Bend. The house itself is a modest but sturdy craftsman bungalow. My next favorite building is Timberline Lodge. I enjoy pine trees, fir trees, birds,, horses, dogs, quilts, craftsmanship and nature. The house also contains a Hudson's Bay Indian trading blanket, a Pendleton Blanket and a great book on collecting Indian blankets. I hope you enjoy the house and Bend.
