About this property

In the heart of downtown Cape Charles, Bayside Dreamer Unit A is a modern loft style apartment with all the comforts of a 4 star hotel suite! Slightly larger than its Unit B counterpart next door. Meticulously renovated and designed with the finest appointments, the Bayside Dreamer Unit A offers a delightful respite right in the heart of historic Cape Charles. A generously sized living area sports a large 55" Samsung smart TV and comfortable seating. The living room features original art by the photographer Michael Khan and a clam shell painting by New Jewrsey artist, Renee Levin.
The adjacent kitchenette has a stylish Serena & Lilly barstool, small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker for those times when you just want to stay in instead of hitting the local restaurants and pubs. Beyond the kitchenette is a king bedroom with super comfortable mattress and Henry Link furnishings. There is an additional space behind the apartment that houses a washer and dryer shared with the neighboring suite. The queen sized sofa bed in the living room allows for an additional guest or two for a modest additional charge. The bathroom is modern with a walk in shower that has both a handheld shower head and a ceiling mounted rain shower head. The bathroom also features a heated floor. Sanitized bed and bath linens are provided but bring your own beach towels.
Step out the front door, turn right and in less than 100 feet you will be on Mason Avenue, the main commercial street in Cape Charles with many specialty shops and eateries. As a matter of fact, Kelly’s Gingernut Pub is right at the intersection and Brown Dog Ice Cream is less than a half block away if you turn left at the intersection. If you turn right on Mason, it’s a short two blocks to the uncrowded Cape Charles Beach on the Chesapeake Bay. There is space behind the apartment to store beach chairs, wash off sandy feet annd hang beach towels to dry.

Good visit!

Property was great. Loved the heated floor. There is a coffee maker not a keurig— would bring items for coffee if it’s a must. Could hear some noise from the pub next door but it did not last past 9pm. Clean and located such that you could walk right to the Main Street.

Get Away

June and I wanted some alone time close to the bay in a fun community. Cape Charles was just the place. The property was perfectly located, quiet and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the bathroom's in floor heating. Property Manager and owner great to work with. I would recommend to any couple wishing to just "get away".

Anniversary Trip

The property was in perfect location to the beach and Main Street for shopping and restaurants. It was clean and modern inside. The heated floors were a nice touch I never knew I needed. I thought the reviews with complaints about the shower might be an overreaction - however the leak was extremely annoying and hopefully will be attended to; the front windows have been corrected since previous reviews to accommodate more privacy. Check in was ok other than our email said we could pick the key up early (which we needed to do b/c we had plans) however the key was not at the pick-up location and the man at the pick-up location seemed to think we were trying to get into the house early which was not the case. We like to rent a golf cart to enjoy the town on - this property does not have any charging for the cart however thankfully we had a short stay, so the cart lasted the two-day trip. Overall, it was a great spot for a couple to have a romantic getaway, would book again.

Cape Charles condo

The condo was lovely and the location is really good. The only negative was the shower that wouldn’t stop dripping that you could hear throughout the condo. We reached out by text and phone to the property manager who couldn’t locate a plumber over the weekend. It put a bit of a damper on what otherwise would have been a great stay.

Almost Really Good

We were pleased with the property and its location in Cape Charles. The apartment abuts Kelly’s Restaurant. The restaurant apparently has a refrigerator or freezer that is located against the wall that separates it from the apartment. The constant loud cycling on and off of the appliance was a big nuisance while trying to sleep. For that reason we would never stay there again, but would consider Apt B which is next door but not next to the restaurant.
