Adorable fully self-contained cedar lined cottage with cathedral ceilings, 50 metres from the beach, includes undercover parking and unlimited Wi-Fi. The island bus stops at the door with restaurants and shops just a short walk away. This cottage is private and peaceful and loaded with character. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday this is the place for you. This cottage has a shower over the bath. Children and infants cannot be accommodated.

Comfort Plus

The overall cottage was beautiful especially the bedroom, roomy, airy, plenty of space. The kitchen facilities were minimal but adequate if you are not cooking lots of meals. It was within walking distance of shops and the beach, though not one of the popular beaches. It did have a lovely kids playground and grassy park area., though the cottage is more for 2 not a family. The air-conditioning and fans were efficient and kept the place cool, however we did notice on 2 days that someone entered our property and turned off the air conditioner, which was disconcerting and annoying, as we were only out for a few hours at a time. If it was that important there should of been a notice asking for aircon to be turned off. Having the laundry was great, and the cottage did have a supply of beach towels, books, games, a shopping trolly, and 2 outdoor camping chairs which we thought was a great touch. Overall we would recommend this cottage and definitely come back.

Hi Lisa Glad to hear you enjoyed staying in our cottage. I can guarantee you that nobody entered the cottage while you were staying with us. The air conditioner had a setting that automatically turns it off once a day at 10am. The reason being is we have found guests occassionally check out at 10am and leave the air-conditioning running and we can't always get over to the island to turn it off so it could be running for days on end. If guests are in the cottage they simply turn it one again. It is only once a day. Sorry this inconvenienced you. I will add this information to the guest information. Kind regards Eileen.

Central location

Nice place, very clean, met all our needs. Being so central we found it noisy by our standards (we live on a farm).
