Pros (house and location) and Cons (Check-in and meaningful communication)
House is convenient to beach and stores. Lots of living space and bathrooms. Check-in and support was PAINFUL and LACKING. Property management company manages the home. Broken washer (property management knew), stopped up toilet and missing linens. The guests spent time in laundromat instead of the playing at the beach . No notification that washer was broken until after check-in and guests had only packed minimum clothes. They stated it should be repaired mid-week. No repair happened. No communication either that no one was coming to fix. Also, on check-in night no help with missing linens. Spent first night at local department store in Kitty Hawk paying $127 for basic bed linens since there was no delivery of fresh linens. (FYI-Bag of linens was dropped off on the carport next day after I paid for sheets to sleep on check-in night ). I like Nags Head and always rent big beach homes in NC but will take a hard pass on this management company again (Posting does state a property management company is involved). Poor communication and availability (no one in office to help with issues on check in day - and I was told the next day by the linen service that there was emergency linen bag in property mngt office but since no one was there -- or least answering phones - it was no help.). No- never had to give a mediocre review with any property rental company. Note: I was reimbursed for linen purchase..
