Tranquil retreat with spectacular views over Andersons Inlet
Our 4-bedroom house is situated on a large peaceful block, within walking distance to Fisherman’s Jetty and a short drive (or longer walk) from Beach No 5. In this magical spot, you can enjoy views across Andersons Inlet from the large outdoor dining table or lounge on the deck, or while enjoying a drink at the old barrel on the veranda. You’ll be entertained by kangaroos and a huge range of birds while you relax.
Inside, there is a cosy lounge/dining area in which to relax with friends and family, where you can enjoy a log burning fire in the winter or the cool fans/aircon in summer. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, and has an electric hob and air fryer oven (note, there is no standard oven). You’ll also have access to a microwave and the barbecue on the deck outside.
The property has recently been redecorated from top to bottom, and repainted outside. Like all houses in Venus Bay, it runs on tank water and a septic tank.

Absolutely loved the property, the surroundings, and the hosts. Highly recommend this if you're looking for a rental in the Venus Bay/Inverloch area.
Thanks Sarah and Richard!
We enjoyed our stay, the house was very comfortable and well equipped it would have been good if it had a highchair available, but overall, it was a great place to stay.
We had an incredible stay at this welcoming home. The indoor fireplace and outdoor firepit are a cosy highlight, and the stunning view with wildlife, including kangaroos, made it unforgettable. It’s a peaceful, clean, and well-equipped retreat. Both our families had a wonderful break. The hosts were extremely hospitable and helpful. We can’t wait to return!
The location and view of the house makes the holiday instantly relaxing. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the fields while watching kangaroos, rabbits, and the bird life. The house is well equipped in the kitchen and bathroom. The kids enjoyed the hammock, outdoor swings and backyard games. outdoor
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful holiday house in Venus Bay. The home has such a relaxed, beachy holiday vibe, and the views are absolutely stunning — it was hard not to unwind. We also loved the visits from local wildlife, which made the experience feel extra special. The house is really well equipped. We were able to cater a big Christmas lunch with ease, then spend the rest of the day relaxing and reconnecting with family. It’s close to great beaches and lovely walks, but honestly, there was hardly any reason to leave the house because it was such a pleasure just being there. Thank you so much for the warm hospitality — we’d happily stay again.
This holiday house is a dream come true! Nestled by the inlet, it offers awe-inspiring kangaroo sightings. The well-appointed interior ensures comfort, and the warm welcome you receive is unbeatable. Location? Utterly perfect. This retreat is a slice of paradise. We hope to be back!
We loved our stay in Venus Bay. The property is great with lots of living spaces for family and friends to spread out into which is excellent when you have teenagers in your group.
The fire pit out the back was fantastic and great for talks into the night. The view to the marsh and the kangaroos was gorgeous.
Great place to get away and enjoy the peace.
Stayed here with the family and a friends family and enjoyed our stay.
From Beach 1 to 5 just a 2min drive away and the back yard looking on to the wetlands and inlet enjoying a wine was even more enjoyable. The binoculars supplied to catch the kangaroos kept the kids entertained. Would highly recommend a stay.
Looking forward to coming back
The house is completely stunning and comfortable in every way. Recently renovated, lots of space to be doing your own thing, or tables big enough for the large groups.
Backing onto the wetlands, watching the birds and kangaroos is amazing. Short drives to beaches, or 20 min walk to closest.
Owners were so accommodating, so helpful and made our stay an absolute breeze. We would be back in a heartbeat!
