This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom, and 2 parking unit is located in the unique and luxurious Watermark building, tucked away in a lush garden at the end of a quiet street. It is a little oasis on the west end of Waikiki, within comfortable walking distance to both the Ala Moana Center and the famous Waikiki beach.
Upon arrival at the Watermark condo, you will see a beautiful fully equipped kitchen with mahogany cabinets, Brazilian granite countertops, travertine floors, and all stainless-steel Viking appliances. Enjoy central air-conditioning and relax in the living area of this unit, equipped with a TV and a cozy couch. And take in sunlight and stunning views of the mountains, ocean, and stunning urban Waikiki from this unit's extra-large lanai (balcony).
The ground-floor lobby of The Watermark, complete with Hawaiian artwork and comfortable seating areas, is spacious and open to both the pool and gardens. It steps down to a natural stone-tiled infinity pool terrace, complete with a lava-rock-enclosed hot tub. Nearby is a luxurious air-conditioned fitness pavilion with a sauna.
The amenities of this building include a state-of-the-art fitness room, infinity swimming pool, and spa, barbeque area, pavilion/lounge for entertaining, and storage area for bicycles.
The Watermark building is located just across from the Ala Wai Canal, on a quiet cul-de-sac with minimal traffic. This area of Waikiki has a quaint, residential feel, contrary to the majority of urban Honolulu. However, it is a prime location to experience all of what both Waikiki and the larger Honolulu area have to offer.
On one side, within walking distance, is the one-of-a-kind Ala Wai Harbor and the famous Hilton Hawaiian Village - home to Friday night fireworks, the Waikiki Starlight Luau, and countless shopping and dining options. On the other side, within walking distance, is Hawaii's largest mall (the Ala Moana Shopping Center), Honolulu's best beach park, and the rest of Honolulu.

On a quiet side of Waikiki but walking distance to beaches, grocery stores and the Ala Moana mall. The space is as advertised and has the amenities (pool, gym, washer/dryer, kitchen) to make a comfortable extended stay.

Overpriced for the Condition and lack of long term maintenance
Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I stayed here for 2 months in early 2022. We were very disappointed in this unit. It is the WORST maintained and furnished VRBO or AirB&B we have stayed in for the last 12 years. This unit is in great need of long term maintenance and cleaning. The furniture is dirty and stained. The couch is a fold our futon type bed and very uncomfortable. The apartment supposedly "sleeps six", but there are only 4 chairs at the dining room table. And they are dirty and stained also. The living room area rug was extremely dirty and had no pad so it kept slipping all around. The lanai is huge but there was not even a chaise lounge. Only one small sized outdoor table with two chairs that were uncomfortable because they badly needed new seat cushions. The kitchen had no blender or mixer, which I asked for but never received. Also there are no baking pans, or dishes to cook with in the microwave. The major appliances are old and there were no user manuals which made it hard in the beginning of our 2 month stay. But, on the positive side, the management company did respond quickly when we reported a leaky toilet and a leaking kitchen faucet. This unit is in a beautiful building in one of the best parts of Waikiki/Honolulu. The grounds and the pool are spectacularly landscaped. The resident 24 hour front desk staff was very helpful and attentive. To sum up our experience, we felt it was extremely overpriced for the condition and furnishings.
