PICTURESQUE LAGOON & OCEAN VIEWS

Beautiful views are seen from anywhere in this comfortably decorated condominium. Sliding glass doors give access to two spacious lanais where views of the Pacific Ocean, Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon, and Ala Wai Yacht Harbor.

This amazing, 1000sq.ft, ocean-view condominium is located on the tenth floor on the coolest and most desired side of the property. Our condominium features a classic tropical theme, koa wood plank flooring, Shoji-Hawaii room divider, 2-bedrooms, 2-bathrooms (one includes handicap safety features and accessibility), fully equipped kitchen, dining & living room with a desk for personal or business use, and two large lanais for enjoying the views with morning coffee and/or sharing evening meals.

The master bedroom has a queen bed, while the second bedroom features twin beds that can convert into a king size bed. In the living room, there is a queen size sofa bed. This unit can sleep six people.

It has two HD LCD flat-screen TVs, a split AC system, and free cable, Internet, a library of novels (take one /leave one) and games.

The best rental price for a 2-bedroom condo on the lagoon & ocean side of the Ilikai.

This Hawaiian condo home offers the comforts and conveniences of home. It is well-maintained, reasonably priced, and conveniently located – just a 15-minute walk to the upscale Ala Moana Shopping Mall and Waikiki Beach attractions.

There is valet parking available at a daily rate with NO self-park option available.

We recommend renting a reasonably priced car on a daily basis. Hertz and Dollar car rental are located in the Ilikai lobby and Enterprise car rental agency is located in the Discovery Bay building across the street.

Public transportation is available and easy! When on the island that is how we get around!

Great location. Convenient stores down in the lobby. Walking distance to Aloa Moana shopping centre. Top tip: Purchase a Pink Trolley pass and have transport into Waikiki and shopping centres. A bus stop out the front of Ilakai!

We have purchased new bedroom and living room furniture, new flooring throughout, a beautiful wood sliding room divider, new kitchen appliances, and new split air conditioning units all in the past couple of years. Perhaps you meant bathrooms and/or window treatments - I could agree with that since they were upgraded and replaced about 7 or 8 years ago. Our goal has always been to provide a clean, comfortable, affordable, and homey Hawaiian-themed condo for our guests -- a relaxing home away from home where guests are not fearful of spills or damage to the property. Everything was wonderful! The condo had everything we needed for our 12 day stay. The kitchen was well equipped as were the linen closets. A laundry room was close by if needed. The furniture was comfortable and beautiful. The lanai views were fabulous! facing the ocean , lagoon, and marina. We often sat out there drinking our morning coffee and watching surfers, para-sailors, and sailboats go by. Bus stops were within easy walking distance if you haven't rented a car. The decor was beautiful and appropriate for Hawaiian life. The two bedrooms were a nice benefit for us and our son and daughter-in-law who came with us. This was so much better than renting 2 hotel rooms!We highly recommend this beautiful this lovely property.

This is a great condo! Great location near the lagoon. Beautiful views of the city from one lanai and beautiful views of ocean and lagoon from other lanai. The place was very clean, had everything you needed, and the views were fabulous. Groceries were near by, and just a short walk to the beach. My family and I had a wonderful time for our first trip to Hawaii. We would highly recommend staying here. For us, it was a great home base for a few days after our POA cruise. I would like to meet her in person sometime.We found parking in a lot behind the Iliki at 1 per hour, but searching for spaces can be hard. Parking across the street at the Discovery Center seems readily available - cash only at 25 per 24 hours.

We have owned our Hawaiian condo since 2003. We have enjoyed many years of ownership and visits to Hawaii. I am a retired high school teacher and my husband, Steve, retired from an auto parts manufacturer in the Denver area after a 30-year career in marketing and sales. Our daughter, Aimee, and three beautiful granddaughters love Hawaii as much as we do! We live in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Steve, a WWII historian and a member of "Sons and Daughters of Pearl Harbor Survivors," appreciates the historical significance. He has volunteered at the Pearl Harbor Memorial donations desk when visiting Oahu.

Why they chose this property

Honolulu represented home to Steve as his father was a Survivor of the attack on Pearl Harbor and Hickam Airfield on 7 December 1941. Then during college years, 1962 to 1965 the family returned and stationed once again at Hickam Air Force Base.

We vacationed on Oahu a number of times for business and pleasure. In 2003, we began looking for properties we could use for part of the year and bought our unit at the Ilikai. We love the Hawaiian culture, its history, the food, music and the friendly local folks. We hope that you will choose our condo and enjoy your stay in Honolulu and Waikiki Beach.

What makes this property unique

We like to sit on our South lanai watching the surfers, sailboats, and outrigger canoes. One of the great joys are the frequent rainbows that can be seen from our spacious lanais as we enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine. From October through December, we enjoy the many beautiful sunsets from our lanai, too. Our condo is completely furnished and includes all the appliances and amenities one would expect to find at home. As a result, when we visit our Hawaiian home, we feel like we are truly at home. We believe our provided amenities are a real plus for our renters and makes them feel at home, too. We enjoy the Royal Hawaiian Band that plays at noon every Friday at Iolani Palace. This is a must. We also enjoy the local Hawaiian entertainment, on Friday evenings with Kawika & friends in the Ilikai courtyard then turn our chairs to enjoy the fireworks over the Hilton Lagoon. A unique benefit is that we can walk anywhere in the Waikiki Beach area in no more than 15 minutes. We love renting a car and going to the North Shore and watching the turtles near Haleiwa Town. And we never miss a chance to stop at Matsumoto's Shaved Ice shop (snow cone) in Haleiwa for a well-known frozen treat.
