Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Air conditioners turned off
All sliding doors and windows closed
*BBQ grill cover on BBQ *Bring all trash & recycling to the bins & wheel down to the road. Please take any additional bags with you. *Outdoor cushions returned their storage
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
BBQ is positioned so that the smoke &heat is not directed towards the log cabin. To prevent fire/damage to the house, this must not be moved
Use A/C units during the day only while solar power is abundant. After dark, please switch A/C units off to help preserve energy
We have a large pond in the backyard with no barrier/fence, This is a risk for those that can not swim. Do not leave children unsupervised outside.

Beautiful setting

Lovely cabin and grounds. All as described, well equipped and very roomy. Only negative was the noise from the nearby motorplex which spoilt the peaceful ambience at times. But otherwise very peaceful and secluded. So many bird varieties ( the tiniest humming bird I’ve ever seen).

12 Friend annual gathering

Every year, as a group of friends we meet in different locations. one of the biggest complaints of attendees is that there's not enough beds to sleep in. This year we found this location. Plenty of space inside and out. Isolation away from other houses and properties and enough beds to go around. We would definetly look to return to this location again. Thanks for hosting!

Grand Bend

Overall our stay was excellent ! Plenty of rooms and space to accommodate a large group. The property is beautiful and provides tons of area to enjoy the outdoors. Also it’s perfectly located to the main strip of grand bend as it’s only a short drive down.
