Family Getaway on North Fork

Overall we enjoyed our week long stay at this property. The home itself and backyard were very spacious and the location was very ideal to enjoy all the North Fork has to offer.

Everything about the house was as described and all our many questions were answered quickly no matter the day or time.

Beautiful home with a great yard

If my house has a yard like this one, I would never leave home. The heated pool was fantastic in mid-September, as was the hot tub. The house was clean and well-furnished. It had everything we needed for an amazing stay. Also, so much to do on the north fork. We didn't make it to a vineyard this time, but there were many less than 5 minutes away. We golfed, stopped in Greenport and Southold and Mattituck. Overall, just a really nice relaxing trip. We hope to be back next year!

Disappointed

We booked this house for us and family flying in from California and had thought it would be incredible based on the listing and the large expense and great reviews.The house would have been great but it just was maintained very poorly. The pool had issues the entire time and stopped working for the last 2 days of our trip, on the hottest days of the year! The jacuzzi would have been great as well but only half of it worked and the step to get in was broken with screws sticking out of it. The back door was a huge step down which was awkward and outright dangerous for our elderly mother. The beds were just about all uncomfortable one of them actually smelled like vomit and we had to wash it all. The garbage outside was completely filled with old trash and visible maggots. We were told that the trash could only go in the special yellow bags, and when we ran out of the bags, we were told we had to go buy them at a store in town we complained and luckily they brought us some after we refused to do it based on the large amount of money we spent on this rental. The pool house was not usable and filled with insects and broken items, the outdoor shower was not usable and looked like it hasn’t been in years. We were all so excited for the “private beach across the street“, it was extremely small and not really usable for swimming and it was behind peoples houses.

We had a great time. House was clean and there was plenty of space for the couples that came. Would for sure consider coming back. Very peaceful!

My 40th bday weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wow what a beautiful home, location 10 out of 10, was literally within 5 mins from the vineyards, great restaurants, bagel stores, coffee and directly across the street from the great Peconic bay. So peaceful and serene, with all the best amenities and plenty of space for my entire party! Rain or shine this house is ideal for a group of girls friends, family with children, a couples weekend, it’s an A++ Would love to come back on the summer and be able to enjoy the beautiful pool in the huge backyard. But the hot tub we were able to use and it was perfect and the sleep afterwards divine, like a happy baby 😃
