About this property
Rockcliffe House, Private Guest Suite on Brandy Lake
Welcome to Rockcliffe House. With 2,400 feet of water frontage and 20 acres, we are one of the largest privately owned waterfront properties in Muskoka.
You are invited to stay in our Guest Quarters, a private, separate apartment located in the lower level (walkout access) of the main House. There you will find a large full size kitchen and dining area, 2 bedrooms (4 beds), 1 bath and a large living room. The decor is styled with a vintage Muskoka theme.
We live in the main part of the house year round.
Rockcliffe House boasts 2 rocky points of land (Pine Point and Birch Point), with complementary lily pad bays providing iconic Muskoka landscape of yesteryear. Private trails run throughout the property offering hiking and wildlife viewing opportunities.
Deep water swimming is available, with some jumping rocks for the brave, and a small shallow cove for the toddlers.
With multiple exposures, you can enjoy both sunrises and sunsets all summer long from multiple viewing areas.
A large firepit with comfy chairs and firewood ready to burn await you...

About the host
Hosted by Marina Baker

We (Marina and Joe) recently retired from our small furniture and gift store which we operated in Port Carling from 1996 to 2023. We started building our dream home in 2007, and have continued to make improvements every year since. We have two kids, both recently graduated from university.
Why they chose this property
This property is very special to us. We have invested considerable time and energy into improving the landscape (ie. we have planted over 8000 trees) and the building (doing all the renovations hands-on ourselves).
Please have lots of fun, and please also respect the land and the building and your Hosts that live upstairs!

What makes this property unique
Most properties like ours, were subdivided and the parts sold off many years ago. With 2400 feet of waterfront, Rockcliffe House is one of the biggest remaining mainland waterfront properties left in Muskoka.
