Great cozy place on West End

Fabulous, quaint place in wonderful, convenient part of Nashville. There are not elevators so we had to carry our luggage up 3 floors but that was not a problem.

Vibrating accommodation

I expected a small, clean, bright modern quiet studio for my month long stay in Nashville. It was adjacent to everything I needed and wanted. The bed was very comfortable and the comforter soft. The view was beautiful and having my own thermostat allowed me to keep the space at my personal comfort level. But responses from the different property management people resulted in unmet requests for cleaning services. The studio is advertised as “bright”, having a "full bath" and a “balcony". It had inadequate area lighting, a shower with just a shower stall and a metal pole across the sliding glass door serving as a balcony. My request for extra lighting was ignored although the maintenance crew was efficient about contacting me. I could live with the poor lighting, the broken vertical shade, the moldy caulking in the bathroom and even the soiled carpeting and broken down couch. (the efficient professional housekeeping staff sent extra bath towels which were used to cover the couch) But the ongoing low vibration in the bedroom and bathroom areas was literally headache-inducing. I was told that because of the building’s foundation, cars coming and going in the parking garage, 5 floors below, caused the vibration. As a result, I had trouble getting a good night’s sleep, left early and will not be returning to this particular property. And if I can avoid it, I will not rent a property where Sonder is the property manager.
