Tranquility

A warm welcome awaits you at Gumtree Cottage, a modern fully self-contained property nestled amongst the countless gumtrees on this 18 acre rural site.

Located only 10 mins from Hermitage road, the gateway to the wineries and renowned restaurants, the property is ideally suited to couples, young families & friends alike wishing to explore all that this stunning region has to offer.

Guests are invited to relax in the private hot tub, stroll down to the dam, where you can enjoy a fire pit, with wood & firelighters provided with our compliments. Blankets and cushions are also provided for your added comfort.

Sunset and sunrise can be enjoyed either from the hot tub which is at the rear of the property which is fenced or from the seating area and if you are lucky you can watch the local kangaroos grazing at both dawn and dusk.

At the time of booking, guests can request up to 2 well behaved, house trained dogs. Please refer to the policy relating to dogs prior to booking and provide details of the dogs you will be bringing in your booking request.

Perfect weekend away

Lovely relaxing stay

We absolutely loved the place. The house was very clean and had everything we required during our stay. Adrian was super accommodating and we felt we were miles away from the hustle and bustle. Would love to visit again. Sitting in The spa and watching the birds and tress was so relaxing.

Lovely stay at Gumtree cottage

We had a lovely time. The cottage was immaculate and quiet. Loved the hot tub and enclosed space for our dog. A nice drive to the wineries and easy access from Sydney.

Let the good times roll

We took our two dogs to stay and we had a great time! The place was clean and tidy and the yard was a nice good size for them. The area was also beautiful. Some kangaroos were always nearby too. :)

Beautiful and peaceful location

We foun the location very convenient not far from the wineries at ll but away from the bustle in the beautiful trees and bushland on this property , very clean ,has all the cooking and cleaning facilities needed even for a long stay , a lovely fenced back courtyard with a jacuzzi and peaceful surroundings , we will definately be back and will recommend , very affordable next time we will stay much longer :)

Serenity cottage

This was a lovely place to stay very roomy for 2 people, very quiet and relaxing. The host is friendly, and happy to help with anything you might need, but is also happy to just let you do your own thing. I would recommend this place to any couple looking to get away to peace and quiet. We had a great weekend away.

The cottage was clean and very comfortable. We loved the spa and the quiet, while still being in close proximity to a lot of wineries. It is a great place to relax and unwind. The kitchen has everything you need and Adrian was a great host. Would love to come back.

Outback bliss

Gumtree cottage is a lovely hide away with delightful wildlife and an outdoor spa. It is spotlessly clean and has helpful owners. Would highly recommend this sanctuary too recharge your batteries!

Great Getaway with the Pups

We really enjoyed our stay and found the place a perfect spot to relax with our two dogs. The place was very tidy and had all the ammenities we needed. Our dogs loved walking around the property and dipping their feet in the pond. Adrian and Judith were very friendly and answered all of our questions. We highly recommend staying here if you need an accomodation that is pet friendly.

Perfect place for a weekend away from the city

The place is immaculately clean and contained everything we required- we wanted for nothing! The booking process was very easy and the hosts provided us with plenty of space. Plenty of games and DVDs to play/watch on a night in as well as the option to sit by the fire pit or in the jacuzzi and take in the stars. All round an excellent stay. We would highly recommend! Perfect get away

Gumtree cottage was a fabulous way for my partner and i to enjoy our holiday. The house was spectacular with everything we needed plus more. Waking up to the wildlife was such a pleasent way to start our days and relaxing in the bubles of the spa was a perfect way to end our days. We will most certainly be back! Cant wait fir next time.
