If you are intending to party, please do not book this house. Our neighbours won't tolerate it and you won’t be able to enjoy yourself in the way you plan.

IDEAL FOR MULTIPLE FAMILIES Our lakeside retreat is thoughtfully designed with families in mind. The floorplan is tailor-made for multiple families, providing separate living spaces, bedrooms and bathrooms to ensure privacy while fostering a sense of togetherness. It's the perfect place to create lasting memories with loved ones.
BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS Our expansive property boasts five comfortable bedrooms and clean and modern bathrooms. Each bedroom has been tastefully decorated to create a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
LIVING SPACES Two spacious living areas await you, providing plenty of room for relaxation and entertainment. The main living room offers stunning lake views through large windows, allowing you to soak in the natural beauty of Lake Macquarie while enjoying the warmth of the fireplace during cooler evenings. The second living space offers a more intimate setting, perfect for quiet conversations or a movie night.
KITCHEN AND DINING Our fully-equipped kitchen is a chef's delight, with all the essentials needed to prepare delicious meals. The adjacent dining area features a large dining table, perfect for gathering everyone together for memorable meals.
OUTDOOR OASIS Step outside to discover our outdoor oasis. A spacious deck with BBQ overlooking the lake is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or a quiet drink while watching the sunset. The expansive lawn provides space for outdoor games, picnics, or simply basking in the sun.
WATERFRONT ACTIVITES Our lakefront property offers direct access to the water. Spend your days kayaking, SUPing, fishing, or simply lounging by the water's edge. A private jetty is available for those who wish to bring their watercraft - please advise on enquiry.

QUIET HOURS Please observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. During these hours, we ask that you keep noise levels to a minimum. This means moving inside and closing doors and windows.
NOISE We define 'noise' as any sound that disturbs the peace and quiet of our neighboring properties. We kindly request that you refrain from causing disturbances at any time, 24/7.
This policy aligns with the Code of Conduct for the Short Term Rental Accommodation Industry, Section 2.5.2 which you are bound by. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated.
CCTV To maintain the security of our lakeside retreat, we have installed security cameras on the property. Please rest assured that your privacy is of utmost importance to us, and the cameras do not capture audio or monitor any indoor spaces. If these cameras are covered we can terminate your stay immediately.
ACCURATE GUEST COUNT Please ensure that the number of guests on-site matches the booking and payment information provided. If there are found to be discrepancies between the number of guests on site and the booking information we reserve the right to terminate your stay immediately.
BOOKING RESPONSIBILITY The person making the booking must be present during the stay and must take responsibility for the behavior of all guests.
ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES The access codes to gain entry to the premises will be made available the day before check-in.
Our usual check-in time is 2pm but we may be able to offer you an early check-in upon request.
Check out is 10am. We may be able to offer a 4pm check out for a fee of $100. This must be requested and paid for prior to check in.
FAMILY FRIENDLY ACCOMMODATION Our lakeside retreat is thoughtfully designed with families in mind.
Our minimalist decor minimises the risk of decorative items being accidentally damaged by little explorers.
We provide a range of child-friendly amenities, including a cot, a high chair and a selection of children's plates, cups, and cutlery.
There are two sets of stairs which unfortunately cannot be gated. Please be assured that access to the lake can be easily controlled using external gates and by locking the doors to the decks. Additionally, the backyard is secure, with measures in place to ensure your children's safety. However, there is an unfenced raised deck in the area.
DAMAGES Guests are responsible for all damages to the premises or, loss of or damage to any items in the premises. Please notify us immediately should any breakages, damage or loss occur during your stay
SMOKING & VAPING Smoking anywhere on the property is not permitted. If this occurs, additional cleaning costs will be charged.
WATERCRAFT There is one SUP and one single kayak available for guest use. Watercraft are used at guests' own risk. Please rinse watercraft after use.
RUBBISH At the end of your stay, please place all rubbish in the wheelie bins provided. The Red Bin is for general rubbish. The Yellow Bin is for mixed recycling. Any excess rubbish left on the property needs to be taken with you or a rubbish removal fee will be charged.
FIRE Guests must provide their own firewood and be confident to safely light and maintain the fire.
PROVISIONS Sheets, towels and tea towels are provided and professionally laundered.
The coffee machine takes ‘Espressatoria’ pods and guests need to bring their own.
Toilet paper, liquid soap, paper towel, dishwasher tablets, dishwashing liquid, cling wrap, aluminium foil and baking paper are provided.
PERSONAL PROPERTY The owner accepts no responsibility for personal property left on the premises.

Beautiful and peaceful environment. The house was large enough for us all, spacious and comfy. Beds and pillows were great too. Can't wait for our next stay.
Beautiful location, well stocked kitchen, peaceful weekend away. Only downside a couple of little things - Wifi slow, TV remotes not operational.

Hi Michael, thanks for the feedback! The Wifi is on the NBN with Telstra, I'll let them know but we haven't had other complaints. There isn one TV that requires you to turn the screen on and then the remote is entirely operational. This was explained in the check-in instructions, sorry if you missed that.
The property was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. It was very well set up to cater for our family. The kitchen had everything you could want to cook meals while on holidays. It was quiet and very peaceful. We will definately be booking again in the future.
Very peaceful location with spacious living areas and a great balcony where we enjoyed the view and plentiful birdlife. Kitchen ammenities were great. Comfy beds. All very clean and tidy. Comms with the host Kate were fast and instructions were clear. All round a great stay
Beautifully presented and well stocked with everything we required for a relaxing weekend away with the girls.The Outlook from the Balcony was beautiful & relaxing. The peaceful natural surrounds were enjoyed across the days.The rooms & bathrooms were clean & tidy. The beds comfortable, with the main offering a balcony for morning cuppa & chat for those up early.As 7 Ladies who enjoy an annual weekend away we really enjoyed our stay.
Quiet location with an ok view. View is heavily obstructed by trees from house’s viewing deck. It should be noted if you are wanting to stay here for easy swimming / water activities as we were, it’s not recommended you swim in nearby lake due to shark danger. House is not suited for the elderly or toddler children due to stairs as explained in advertising. Main Lounge in the main lounge room is extremely uncomfortable and hard. Cameras are at the exterior of house as explained, however one is situated on the main commune area to wit the back deck and made our stay very uncomfortable for privacy reasons. House was overall functional for our stay and had moderate to good cleanliness. However, air conditioner is needed in down stairs to service 2 x sleeping bedrooms and main lounge room in our opinion. Overall location was good, locals nice and nearby amenities practical and enjoyable. Short drive to surrounding attractions and beaches. Communication exceptional with landlord.

We aim to be very transparent in our listing, and we appreciate you acknowledging that the stairs and exterior cameras are listed. The camera overlooking the deck is installed for security purposes only. It does not have audio, it is only checked if there is a concern or complaint. We value our guests' privacy.
Lake Macquarie is a coastal lagoon and open to the ocean. Guests should assess swimming conditions as you would at any beach or lake.
This is the first complaint I’ve had in 8 years about the view or the couch. The photos on the listing are accurate. One recent guest said ‘great balcony where we enjoyed the view.’ Another said ‘The outlook from the balcony was beautiful & relaxing.’ I’m sorry this wasn’t your experience.

It was the perfect holiday house with plenty of beds, bedrooms and bathrooms for 4 adults and 4 children.
Nice clean linen, fully renovated kitchen and bathrooms.
Lovely views out on the deck.
Just needs a new BBQ and some fumigation as there are a lot of spiders inside and cockaroaches outside.
Amazing place, highly recommend it.
