My husband, two kids, and our dog stayed here for a week and it was wonderful. My kids didn’t want to leave and keep asking when we can go back. We had everything we needed and the Host was extremely kind and was available when we needed her. Everything was clean and comfortable. Thank you!
Mostly a great trip. We had rain and road was horrible during this time.Home was beautiful but needs a few upgrades… furniture was wore out. We had a wonderful stay though. We had some trouble locking up when we left and used the door lock and was locked out, took a bit to get ahold of someone but once we did a neighbor came and let us in.
The house was so clean and cute with little extras that we so appreciated. I forgot to pack my toothbrush and toothpaste and there were cute little travel ones available. The backyard was big and fenced in. It made me wish I had my dogs with me

Short getaway to Cape Fear River and Raven Rock State Park
Pictures looked better than in person. Old trailer home, floor was warped. Liked fence in back yard for our dogs. Kinda pricey for what you get.

Hi VE, The homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following:
- We are saddened to hear you were unhappy with the stay because we always go above and beyond to make sure our guests have a great stay
- We completely remodeled our home from floor to ceiling in 2021
- Since your stay, we replaced the floors to include subfloors. We apologize that our wood floors did not meet our or your standard
- We believe this should not have hindered your stay, but we are very sorry that it did
- We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
We were visiting family stationed at Ft Bragg (Linden Oaks Community). This country charmer was an easy 15 min from their house. Immaculate and well equipped with plenty of covered parking and peace and quiet. The entry is well maintained dirt - our Toyota sedan had no issues and it rained A LOT during our stay. Huge yard, well equipped kitchen. HE washer and dryer. We will be back.
We are moving to the area and drove from Florida in a small moving truck to leave some of our items in our storage unit in Sanford. There is a very bumpy dirt road to get to the property which is revealed in the description. No problem driving the moving truck up the road other than some jostling. This property allows dogs for a small extra fee. We so appreciate this allowance as we don't travel without our two chihuahuas. My only complaint is the furniture in the living room. It is older, though clean, it is not comfortable. We are an older couple and a comfy place to sit is very important. The yard is large for the dogs and the area is quiet. We heard a whippoorwill out in the woods in front of the home.

Comfortable Place for Family Trip
My family enjoyed our stay at the Cozy House. It was a nice, comfortable home with lots of added amenities. You can tell the owner puts a lot of care into the home. I didn’t have such a great experience with the property management company. Many times I didn’t get a response. Luckily, the housekeeper/neighbor was very involved and attentive to our needs - without her this wouldn’t have been a good experience. The location was good because I like to be away from the city, but it was difficult trying to get someone to deliver groceries and restaurant meals. If you use those type of services, please know that it will take patience (we had up to 3 delivery drivers cancel after they found out the location). The house was a nice size. The top bunk was really hard for my children to use so they had to sleep together on the bottom bunk (which you can see that it’s very close to the top, I was just hoping my younger son could make use of it). The large fenced yard was a huge plus! Having 2 bathrooms was great! Best wishes to all.
Very nice cozy home in the perfect location for us. The dirt road to get to the home is pretty rough. Had everything we needed for our stay. Owner is very helpful and responsive as well.
All the comforts of home. Loved my stay over the labor day Weekend!!! I was in the area to visit my daughter and her fiance who are both stationed at Fort Bragg. I loved the seclusion of the neighborhood. It was so peaceful. And the property owner has thought of everything for your stay right down to toothbrushes if you forgot yours. I will absolutely stay here again if I have a need!!!! Thank you for having your home available for us traveling families!!!
We stayed at this location during our PCS from another military installation. The location was ideal in that it was minutes away from Fort Bragg and any amenities we needed. As many military families know, PCSing to a new location is extremely stressful. Rather than staying in a hotel waiting for our home to become available, we decided to rent this home. We are glad we did! The fenced in backyard was perfect for our pets and the storage area was a nice place to store our non-essentials. Josie went out of her way to ensure we were as comfortable as possible during our transition!!!!!
