Bad start

Started off badly Check in at gate was a 45 minute nightmare after traveling all day. Check in car line was down the street. Once we checked in and got into the house there was a chirping smoke alarm battery that had not been changed in 6 years. So I had to go out and go to the store to stop the chirping. The downstairs ac unit was not working at all and had to get maintenance to come and they could not get working right but stayed until 1030. After that night everything seemed more normal. However having to deal with all that after not being able to check in until 4 was off putting.
