Maple Cottage is a cosy one bedroom cottage located in beautiful Bright. It has everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. If you do decide to venture out you are an easy 15 minute walk into the town centre and an even easier bike ride with the rail trail close by, the location of this place couldn't be better.

This property is managed on behalf of the owners by Bright Holidays (part of the Dickens Real Estate group)

A wood fire heater to keep you warm on those chilly winter days and nights and a reverse cycle air conditioner to keep you cool during our hot summers. Please note a starter supply of firewood, kindling, fire lighters and matches are supplied only between May - September. Firewood and supplies can be purchased at local supermarkets and service stations.

BATHROOM
Generous sized bathroom complete with a relaxing spa bath.

OUTDOORS
A private verandah with an electric BBQ for those summer nights. Perfect for your morning cuppa or an afternoon in the sun enjoying a glass of wine and taking in the views.

Cute little place

We stayed for the weekend of the buffalo stampede. Not to far to get to the event. Comfy bed. About a 15 minute walk into town.

Perfect cottage for a mountain biking trip to Bright

Brilliant Bright!

Lucky with the weather and we were able to do all we wanted in five days. Not skiers so no trip without covid test didn’t worry us. Highlight was the Ebike hire half day. Loved it!

It is a good set up for two peaple and we find it a great location with a 15 to 20 minute walk into Bright. The key pick up arrangement works well especially arriving outside business hours

Reviewer Comments: We had the pleasure of staying at Maple Cottage recently.Located within an easy 5 min walk to the township and everything its many amenities; Maple Cottage offers everything needed for a pleasant short or long-term stay'It was clean and tidy and has the added bonuses of a spa bath and slow combustion heater.Overall, we were very happy with the cottage and its location, with just a suggestion for a Smart TV and perhaps an air fryer also.

Unfortunately it was a very hot 4 days and no air-con in the bedroom which made sleeping almost impossible. The outside table and chairs had to be cleaned as they were covered in bird droppings and it was not recent.

Reviewer Comments: Excellently situated, this surprisingly spacious cottage, well-supplied (though water glasses and ice-cube tray could be added), made for a very relaxing holiday. The agents sent rather too many email messages though, and it wasn't initially made clear that there was a third-party agency from where keys had to be collected and returned.

Bright Cottage

Oldish but clean and nice with most things you need. Electric BBQ did not work. Old LED TV no smart and trouble operating it. Very short on crockery. Everything else great. Great location.

Reviewer Comments: Very quiet location which suited my wife and I and the things we wanted to do whilst we stayed in Bright. I would suggest that the refrigerator be serviced or replaced as it is very loud especially at night when you are trying to sleep and you are forced to close the bedroom door to dampen the noise which then makes the bedroom too stuffy if it has been warm throughout the day, which it was for the duration of our stay.

Our only frustration was the tv and trying to watch (Le Tour in particular).. no way could we find how to turn off the subtitles .. soo frustrating!! Great restaurants and our 2nd visit - were from Tassie n love the polite quiet pristine country environment. 😁
