I was down for the Oceans Calling festival. This place was at a nice location. I enjoyed the gym and sauna. It’s walking distance to secrets and an hour walk from the Inlet.
The place is very clean and well kept. It is very family oriented and kids can enjoy the indoor pool.
The only recommendation is that the elevator is sort of smelly, they should work in that, other than that I would recommend the property.
This was such a cute place! I didn't remember the description calling out a Murphy bed as the primary bed, but it was super comfy. The scale of everything in the unit was just right. I would definitely look to stay there again when I have an event in that section of town.

No towels or sheets; the unit is very small with no view. No refund for the security deposit.
A nice studio for two persons to stay. My son and I had a good time there. It has everything we needed, especially the kitchen and washer/dryer. We had to cross a busy street to get to the beach. But the distance is not much. There is plenty parking places. Also there two pool tables and an indoor pool, which my 12 years old enjoyed well. Overall it was a pleasant stay! I would reconsider it. But i don’t think i would go for three persons. The space is limited. Also it doesn’t have much place for storage so we had to leave the suitcases on the floor. The deck is nice but you have to stick your head out to see the bay. So the partial view is not as accurate. But even though it faces a parking lot, I sat there almost everyday. It was quiet there (only one or two cars from the nearby convention center) and good for having a tea or something else.

My first disappointment
It’s an old Days Inn converted to “condos”. The entire place is old, stale, lost in 80s beach art. The fan didn’t work. The bed, a horrible Murphy style bed completely lacked comfort. Didn’t sleep well. The lighting leaves a lot to be desired. Not a fan of the reservation system where they felt the need to ask me several times who else was staying with me. It’s not their business. Also not a fan that I had to pick up and drop off keys 20+ blocks away. Also not a fan of people knocking on my door at 3 am. Wouks be nice if the internet instructions actually worked. I’ve used VRBO many times and have always left great reviews. This stay was a disaster. Just say no to the Makai and possibly Central Reservations.
The room was very clean and keep up nicely. It was very quiet. Only thing was the when we took a shower the water wouldn’t go down the drain. Other then that it was a great vacation getaway.
This property was great for a few nights stay, but I wouldn't want to stay for any longer. There is very little storage so we were unable to unpack our clothes and there wasn't a real space to put our luggage. The pictures make the space look larger than it actually is. It's extremely small. But my only real complaint is the bed. I love the idea of a murphy bed and it was easy to pull down and put away, but the mattress was awful and for the 3 nights we stayed, we didn't sleep hardly at all. If there had been a better mattress, this would have been a great stay.
The perfect size for just what we needed and in the perfect location!

CONSTRUCTION NEXT DOOR!
The view is horrible. From the balcony, your view is the staging area and materials stockyard for ongoing construction at the Convention Center next door. The noise, banging, saws cutting, yelling, and trucks beeping all day long. What an awful location.
