This charming 4 bedroom home is perfect for families or couples who would like a comfy holiday. Located in Burnside, the house is just a 7 minute drive from the Christchurch Airport, and a 15 minute drive from Christchurch Central City. It is in an ideal spot for any guests who want a convenient, yet private spot.

The house has 4 bedrooms, the first two containing a queen bed and a storage closet each, and the third bedroom contains 2 single beds and a storage closet as well. The last bedroom has a queen bed, small closet and ensuite with a toilet, shower and vanity. The main bathroom has a shower, bath, vanity and toilet. There is also a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. The kitchen is fulling self-catering, with an oven, dishwasher and microwave. There are two living areas, the first downstairs and has a few comfy couches and a TV, and the one upstairs has a couple of chairs and a few games for a cosy day in.
There is a lovely, fully-fenced backyard with a nice seating area for anyone who has had a long day out and wants to sit in the evening sun!

Lavandula is an ideal home, it is a 5 minute drive and 20 minute walk away from Avonhead shopping centre, which contains a supermarket, a few stores and places to eat. It is also only a 10 minute drive away from the Willowbank Wildlife Reserve, a great outing for families or couples looking for a fun day out. There is a bus stop 2 minutes from home, and 2 driveway carparks plus street parking.

Great holiday spot

Great location and relaxing stay for all the family. Very well equiped kitchen. There was a heatwave, so was very warm upstairs for sleeping.

Great handy for airport

group of 4 enjoyed 3 nights in this lovely well appointed home. Handy for airport, which is exactly what we wanted. Beds comfy, plenty of kitchen utensils, good laundry (caught up on some washing), and good safe back garden.

Fantastic Stay

Property was lovely. Only thing missing was a hanging rail for clothes in the downstairs room and maybe a blockout blind in the downstairs bathroom, as at night you can see in. But I highly recommend this accommodation and will hope to stay there again next year. Thank you team for making our stay comfortable.

Burnside stay

Property management staff excellent to deal with and property was absolutely immaculate. The only negatives … bedroom with en suite had nowhere to hang clothes, heat pump didn’t work and it was freezing on arrival day, no outdoor furniture as advertised and outdoor area could do with some cover
